The Quality Suites Midland North Loop 250 offers a convenient and affordable place to stay, especially for travelers seeking a simple, clean, and quiet environment. The hotel has an older building that feels quaint and well-maintained, with clean rooms and comfortable beds and pillows. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, partly because the building is old, which helps block out noise from neighbors. The staff are generally nice and accommodating, with some reviews highlighting their kindness and helpfulness. The front desk service is praised as wonderful, contributing to a positive guest experience. While the rooms are clean, there are some minor issues, such as worn-out outlets where charging devices can be difficult and a few ink spots on the carpet. The decor appears dated, and furnishings show signs of wear, which slightly detract from the overall ambiance. A notable concern is the bright spotlights shining at the windows from the front of the building, which can make it hard to fall asleep or sleep comfortably if light enters the room in the middle of the night. Additionally, some amenities, like the elevator, had minor maintenance issues, such as broken tiles, and the wired phone in the room feels outdated. The hotel is not particularly fancy, but it provides a good night’s sleep with a decent breakfast and quiet nights. Some guests noted the absence of hand soap in the men's public restroom, a small detail that could be improved. Overall, the hotel is a solid choice for those seeking a basic, clean, and quiet stay at a good price, with friendly staff and a convenient location about 15 minutes from downtown.
The only faults I could find with the room were worn out outlets when I went to plug in the iron or my laptop and there were 3 ink spots on the carpet. Everything else was flawless. The staff was OK, and it wasn't where I'd have preferred to stay, but it was OK. Only 15 minutes away.
