When we shopped here we were very excited to see that most of their stock was 50% off sale. So needless to say we took advantage of that!!”

“Was visiting Nan's comics and games a few doors down and decided to visit the model shop. Walking in, I was transported back to when I was an avid modeler. They have nearly anything you need from the Japanese robots to model trains! They have the most terrain and building supplies I've seen in person. They also sell completed models and were told by one of the owners they buy old kits people had stashed but never built. The power couple owners were easy to talk to and very knowledgeable! Ya' just gotta go if you ever built models!”
“I am a huge fan of Warhammer 40k. I came to this store yesterday on Nov. 25, this store has everything Warhammer lovers could want. The environment was very clean, the staff is very nice, and they are knowledgeable about the lore of the Warhammer. I bought a book here, and I plan to return soon to buy miniatures from this store. I recommend going to this store if you are in search of a new hobby and for Warhammer fans.”

(He might have been a little gruff because we came in at the last minute and stayed past closing!)I think the majority of negative reviews are from disgruntled parents of very small children who assume this is like a generalized toy store. It's a specialty shop with lots of small, delicate and often quite expensive items. Some kiddos are good in that scenario, but many may be too young to appreciate the environment.”

“Located in the back of a 2 story building of various vendors, I usually find what I need here, and the oeople who run it are very efficient and a delight to work with. Thay do a great job of restringing/knotting pearls, and are great at customizing jewelry ideas. Typically my orders are finished sooner than predicted.”

“They have a wide (and I mean WIDE) variety of decor for any wedding, baby shower, etc! I came in and found what I needed within 10 minutes and everyone was very helpful and knew exactly where the items were that I needed. They have flowers from as low as $2 and the quality is amazing. I highly recommend this shop for your decoration needs.”

When I go there I see all kinds of game being played, including Magic the Gathering.They have a great selection of games to buy for and a lot of neat collectibles.The times that I've gone to meet up and play have been great. I understand this is a one man business and he is quite elderly so I give him extra stars for sheer persistence!”

“Zoe at Michael's on Bissonnet was extremely helpful in replacing the glass on a picture that had broke. She did it while I waited and was very professional and courteous. She even applied hangers and suggested the best way to mount it. She clearly loves her job.”
“Great little shop with Japanese toiletries, some Japanese home goods, anime stuff, Kiddleton claw machines and they now have a Naruto Emblem game. The employees are always friendly. They have some interesting lottery style games to win prizes… I haven’t played them but I saw some regulars play and win a plush and a few other prizes. I would have given 5 stars- but the claw machines win rate is set high. The Naruto game is entertaining and as far as we can tell it’s the only one in a 100 mile radius so it’s worth the 3 dollars to play. My son enjoys the strategy of choosing players - which in my eyes is building math skills lol.”
