“I usually like it here, but yesterday 7-2-2025, I came in by myself before it was time to meet my 18 year old daughter next door for lunch. I spent $10 on candles, met my daughter for lunch, and then came back in with her. There was a woman working who id never seen before, and she was ok to me when I was in there alone but as soon as she saw me come in with my teenage daughter, she had a massive attitude and was giving us dirty looks. Not sure what we did. My daughter ended up spending $60 on rocks. Check your attitude, lady.”

“I am a huge fan of Warhammer 40k. I came to this store yesterday on Nov. 25, this store has everything Warhammer lovers could want. The environment was very clean, the staff is very nice, and they are knowledgeable about the lore of the Warhammer. I bought a book here, and I plan to return soon to buy miniatures from this store. I recommend going to this store if you are in search of a new hobby and for Warhammer fans.”

(He might have been a little gruff because we came in at the last minute and stayed past closing!)I think the majority of negative reviews are from disgruntled parents of very small children who assume this is like a generalized toy store. It's a specialty shop with lots of small, delicate and often quite expensive items. Some kiddos are good in that scenario, but many may be too young to appreciate the environment.”

Their prices are a bit inflated which is expected in the current market but they trade fair which I respected the most about them. Also, as a black dude it’s nice to be treated like everyone else. “This African American owned business is totally awesome! Mrs. Shirley Ann, the owner pleasantly greeted me as soon as I entered the Art and Showroom. The merchandise is classy, unique, and totally beautiful. The florist section is so lovely. I also have enjoyed reading their very informative newspaper. This business is such an asset to the African American community and Houston, TX as a whole. I advise others to take time to shop and visit, especially for your holiday gifts. Mrs. Shirley Ann will make you feel at home.”
“We went in May 2025 and the owner very accommodating for my handicapped father. They went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and had a good view. Also the performances and tricks were great! Finally the fact that I am writing this months afterwards should tell you how impactful it was.”
“Located in the back of a 2 story building of various vendors, I usually find what I need here, and the oeople who run it are very efficient and a delight to work with. Thay do a great job of restringing/knotting pearls, and are great at customizing jewelry ideas. Typically my orders are finished sooner than predicted.”

“Excellent communication during auctions and afterwards. Very good company to do business with. Normally all purchases are delivered just as described. Last week there was one stamp in error in a lot I bought at auction. I sent the one stamp back with the hope that someday they would find a replacement. Somehow, the found a replacement the same week, in excellent condition and they sent it to me at no charge. I have bought stamps from them for many years and have always been happy with the results.”

“They have great selection of handcrafts materials for everything you need. I got some ribbons, flowers and other stuff I needed to make a mum for my daughter's homecoming. The only thing is the prices are really high compared to Walmart. They do have some discounted items but if you really think about it the prices are same as Walmart regular prices so not really discounts.”

“I didn't realize I didn't post my review, just stared it.This place has always been amazing. I've always been skeptical on visiting comic shops or shops like this in the past because every time I enter one, it just reeks of BO and I have a sensitive nose, the first time I entered this place 4 yrs ago, i didn't have that but I was just visiting.I've seen the growth and changes this store has done and it's amazing to shop. I've never had a negative experience here, food is amazing, the employees that I met offer recommendations on many products especially if you're new to a game/book/minis/ etc.Truly an amazing place to shop and would love for them to open more shops around so everyone can experience it.”
