“A little long, but might be worth the read—My little guy is almost 8 months old and he’s been going to KAMC only for a short period of time, but I wanted to write my thoughts as an anxious first time mama, in hopes that it may help another one.

I’ve been a SAHM since my son was born, so the thought of leaving him somewhere else with someone else was beyond terrifying. I’ve read a ton of daycare horror stories where kids are neglected, forgotten, allowed unsafe sleep practices such as sleeping in a car seat, and even made to fight each other for staff entertainment, and those stories always end with the worst outcome imaginable. The staff understood my concerns as a FTM and took the time to reassure and provide me with all the information I needed regarding their safety measures in place for the kiddos.

Over the last two weeks since I’ve returned to work full-time, I’ve watched my son fall in love with the ladies that care for him. We have no tears at drop off, but he does try to jump back into Ms. Petula’s arms at pick-up. He just loves her so. I might just be his third favorite lady now—grandma is first, of course. He smiles and laughs at his teachers, which tell me all that I need to know regarding their care and attention devoted to him. He is progressing at lightning speed. He is exposed to more stimulation and social interaction than I was able to provide for him at home. He is always clean and his belly is full when I pick him up.

The access to the camera system is wonderful, as that anxiety about leaving your baby somewhere else never really goes away. We’ve been here a short time, but I no longer have that lingering anxiety to watch over my shoulder all day when I drop him off.

Where you leave your kid and who/what they’re exposed to matters. I’d strongly recommend KAMC, if it is in your budget and proximity to where you work/reside. I know they will care for your little one with the same diligence as they have mine.”

“I found this daycare and enrolled my then 2 year old AND 2 month old without even touring the daycare. I was desperate to find affordable childcare before returning to work. Everything worked out great!Ms Davis was so nice over the phone and was there every step of the way. Ms Sera is a great teacher to my 11 month old baby always so welcoming my baby is always ready to go with her every morning and Mrs. Rozina his evening teacher is so great. I love to see the way she interacts with my baby treats him as her own. Mrs. Rozina is always so playful with him he sometimes doesn’t want to leave. She is always teaching him something new. I see that my children are in great hands. I wouldn’t want to leave them any other place or with anyone else.”

Always making sure each child has what they need, and are very well taken care of. A lovely school, and a pillar for learning in the Sienna community. We highly recommend a visit!!”
