Love this gym! It's great for a small town.Reason for 1 less star is it does need upgrading and expansion. What worked when it first opened ( when I was young ) is no longer working. The hours are short as well! What I love is there are several things small gyms don't have and this gym has it.SaunaCryoRaquetballCycle classMuch more...

Our family absolutely loves Eagle Pointe! It is such a great place to workout, swim, play basketball, tennis or just walk. Our family has had a membership for several years now. Eagle Pointe has always been a very clean and safe place for our family to enjoy.

As a family of 3, all of us have disabilities. Eagle Point Recreation has accommodations for us and we never feel singled out; we feel like we fit in.

Great location, great amenities.Negatives: Takes too long to repair machines. Cardio and free weights sections need expansion. Hours of operation need extension, especially into the night for the price members are paying. They are also closed every major and minor holiday, sometimes for days. Latest they stay open is 9p and even shorter hours on weekends, which makes no sense. Lot of underused space outside - wish they had an outdoor gym section. For expectation management, summer camps for kids are nothing more than themed babysitting camps, not like camps we are used to elsewhere, but at least it’s something. Would recommend going elsewhere for kids swimming lessons.- In summary: what worked as a small town gym/rec center needs improvement as the town grows.Positives: Child care is great. Saunas in locker rooms are awesome. Has all the must-haves and then some. Great potential for future additional services.

I visited here for the first time a few weeks back. It’s a facility tucked away in Baytown. My first thoughts were that the property seemed clean. They have a jogging loop around it. They also have a gym and pool to usage. I only used the loop outside but my friends whom have trained here do recommend it ! I look forward to updating the review once I make it back out here again.

They host a fantastic farmers market every first Saturday of the month. Wonderful variety of vendors, selling crafts, food and produce.

It is a great facility but the only thing I have a complaint about is that no matter the time of day the basketball court is always packed and the last two times i went I didn't even get the play at all other than that it's an awesome place

Their swimming team is the worst (not one of the worst) team in the gulf area. They only provide baby-sitting services. When they attend swim meets, other teams and parents laugh at them. The coaches strongly encourage your kids to swim freestyle and backstroke in swim meets since they are "unprofessional" and is not capable of teaching your kids breaststroke and butterfly. If you have any friends who live in this community, please consult them. Don't waste your time and money. The most ridiculous thing is their managers (superintendents) posted many fake reviews before. You can easily figure that out and be aware of this.

BEAWARE!!!!The aquatics gives you a glimpse of British rule , if anyone wants to experience, please go here. This place has some powerless managers , and powerful lifeguards who are uncontrollable by management. Poor management failed to hire responsible aquatic crew, instead they hired racist and rude . If you are of different national origin , different color , please think twice , don’t do eye contact . This place also has nepotistic. They bring up policy from no where to pull you out of the pool. The lifeguards are rude to the members. If your kids are in swim team , if your color is good , you get good treatment, otherwise, you get different treatments. This place is run by memebership money , instead of making customers happy , they are in race to get the power and control. You cannot talk to other friends when you are in the deck , they think we are gossiping about them , Some specific lifeguards keep other lifeguards as Assistants to them and keep sending warnings to the members even though we abide by rules they have problems , memebership lane is assigned to two swimmers , even if the other member is doing the dry land , they come and say you can’t use the pool because one member is already arrived , you should go back . We tried raising issues to upper management, these tortures on us on daily basis , especially Asians are usual targets for them , management doesn’t respond or take any action. It’s unfortunate to see Management is so powerless failed to correct the behaviors of these lifeguards .

Horrible experience we had booked our appointment 2 months ahead of time there was a chance of rain. Host called me to see if we would cancel or stand by, I told her we would stand by. When we arrived at the party we were there on time, party was from3:00 to 6:00. Staff told me the host did not answer and needed to be there to give us the wrist bands. Host never showed up I asked the lady at the front if there was a way we could get other bands or if I could get them because we had the guest at the front door waiting. I was able to personally get them at the front office, we did not go in until 3:45 by the time we had set up we lost about an hour of the party. I was not able to get refunded, because that is their policy although it was their error not mine.

I would give 5 stars but the pricing for this place is outrageous if I'm being honest like if the indoor pool was also available be a bit more understandable but we paid damn near $60 ! $56 to be exact that included a $1 lifejacket rental for 2 adults & 1 child I get charging more for non residential residents but I mean if we would of known that we would of gone elsewhere for that much for $50 we could of gone to ride go karts & arcade games for the same amount of hours spent too if not an hour longer. lol I get if I'm coming off as a " Karen " or whatever but I mean it's a pool that have waves for off every 30 mins or whatever. We have in my town just not as well kept lol

Great place to take the kids for a day out in the water. Nice tables, chairs, umbrellas. However, be prepared . No food or beverage whatsoever . We are in the middle of a heat wave with heat advisories. The actual temps have been 100° or above for over a week. We tried to carry our water bottles in and were sent back to the car to put them up. I can understand food and soda, but water? You either have to go out your vehicle to drink your water or buy it . Also, be prepared to pay extra if you are not a resident of Mont Belvieu .

Pretty tired of the complex. We moved here looking forward to our membership. Now no one enforces any rules. At the gym, kids (yes kids) smoke e-cigs on the basketball court. Ladies take their babies in the weight room. Underage kids are in there without their parents. At the wave pool, people are allowed to smoke their e-cigs. Infants are allowed in the water with no diapers on. Ladies are allowed to wear their thongs or sports bras. My only question to whoever sees this review - why do you have rules posted???

We just moved here and the recreational center has so much to do and lots of equipment, activities, training, lessons and classes. My 10 year old is doing private swim lessons and joining swim team. There are a ton of summer camps for the kids with events at wave pool. Very affordable and discounts offered. Fun for the whole family for all ages.
