“Very much like all stores of this grocery chain. Lots of fresh produce, full shelves no matter how big or small location.
Only one more thing to wish-PLEASE, please, build one more store in Troy, TX. City is rapidly growing, lots of young families, lots of goodies needed, lines in the only DG tiny store and their parking lot always full and groceries blown out of shelves daily with little choices. 3 schools in walking distance and no really good grocery store on both sides of highway!”

“I like going here and I've never been a fan of these type of places but the people working here are friendly. Check out is fast. The store looks clean and organized. They always have what I need. This one changed my thoughts on places like this.”

“I enjoy coming to the McGregor Brookshire Brothers, the cashiers are nice at anytime of day, I’m glad that they have access to grocery baskets all around the store- I always think I can hold everything I need in my hands but every time I grab a grocery basket, the workers there are very sweet and feels like the barrier of customer/employee is lowered here-it feels like family all though some of the kids that stock groceries are a little nervous to converse but that’s okay! Kids will be kids! If I want a quick dinner I’ll grab a rotisserie and build a meal around it. I like that I can find everything I need without the crowded aisle of some other grocery stores. I know prices are a concern but to be honest it is not as bad as people put out. They have discounts, a great AD and almost always the have a 3 day sale PLUS they have a rewards system where you can put in your phone number, after so many points you get money taken off your transaction. I also utilize the pharmacy to pick up my husband’s medicine, the ladies in the pharmacy are sweet and for an added convenience they have a drive through! (Sometimes I don’t want to bring my three kids in ?)”

“This Dollar General is pretty good. It close to my mom's house and often saves a trip into town. The lady working was very kind and polite. I took my mom to get cat food because apparently the cat refuses to eat dog food. Spoiled but loved. The lady working said her kids, dogs and cats, prefer their own food too. She smiled and was very friendly. The store was well kept and clean. Only thing is be sure to pay attention getting into the store parking lot. It's right off highway 36 and traffic usually does 10 above the speed limit. If your going north then you have to slow down and turn into the parking lot across oncomming traffic. Other than that it's a really good DG.”
