I searched locally and this was the only place the effectively responded to me. They took care of my baby and went above and beyond to answer questions I had about him and giving me tips on grooming after hours. They are truly a wonderful people. Thanks so much! And the rest of the staff are fun to talk to and genuinley very nice. I brought my cat in moment before closing because she had a life threatening problem and they checked her out, took her in, and did the surgery the next morning after monitoring her. Great service!!!

3135 TX-11, Sulphur SpringsWe discovered Cattlemens Veterinary from our regular vet that recommended them when we had a couple of goat kids that needed medical attention due having broken legs. We are very pleased with the service our goats received and the friendliness of the staff there! The price we were charged was very reasonable! We will definitely be going back to Cattlemens Veterinary for all of our livestock medical needs in the future. I do strongly recommend them to anyone who has medical needs for their livestock!

107 Magnolia St, Sulphur SpringsWe went here since it was on the top 50 list. Boy oh boy, we were not disappointed. This place is a gem right near downtown Sulphur springs. The people at the counter who greeted us were super friendly and thankful that we stopped by on our road trip from Dallas. We ordered fatty brisket, ribs, sausage, a texas twinkie, the illustrious Brussels sprouts, tater tot casserole, and potato salad. Everything was really good. The brisket was smoked nicely getting a really good render. I like it all little saltier and more spiced personally, but it was really good. The ribs seem like the house specialty. They are spare ribs and have a really good glaze on them. Fall off the bone and perfectly seasoned. The sausage was fine. All the sides were excellent. Brussels are about as good as they can get. The potato salad was creamy and rich. The tater tot casserole was interesting. Kinda pasty but still really good. I thought it needed some crunch but that could be because the way they hot hold it. We will be back every time we are in sulfur springs. This is top notch Texas BBQ!

Many are friends but seem more like family because when you go out to White Oak,you get the same friendly staff that you had the last time you were there and they’re going to remember you. Corner Grub House
113 Gilmer St, Sulphur SpringsI heard about this place 10 days ago, even though it is an hour drive I had to try it out after all the good things I heard about it. I was not disappointed! I arrived at 4 on a Saturday, parked across the street. There was seating at outside tables, and there were a few open seats inside. Impressive layout, very welcoming, along with a full service bar.
I was seated within 1 minute of walking in. My waitress (Kristin) was fantastic, very helpful and very attentive throughout my stay, within a couple of minutes I had my drink, and had my appetizer ordered-bacon wrapped jalapenos. It only took a couple of minutes to get them and they were fantastic! I've never been one to get to wrapped around the axel over appetizers but man... They were great!
For my meal I got the sirloin steak with green beans and loaded mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare like I ordered it. The fresh green beans were seasoned just right and they were not mushy like most places have and the potatoes were also very good.
I have to say in the last year this is easily the best dinner I've had. But then Kristen had to mention blueberry cheesecake.... Well I was so full I couldn't even finish my meal so I did get a slice to go. I haven't ate it yet, but I can't wait. I'm sure it's as good as all the rest of the food was there. Thank you Kristin and the rest of the crew there for a very memorable dining experience. I'm bringing my group of friends up there next week so everyone can enjoy it!
Update 3-21-26
I decided to go for a ride and try the corner grub house again. I arrived at 5:00 p.m. and and there was plenty of parking on the street around the business. The restaurant was much busier this time but I was still seated within a minute.
I was lucky enough to have Kristen as a waitress again. The same great service, friendly, and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. With that said I was more than a little surprised when she remembered what I drank last time I was here, and asked me if I wanted the poppers again for an appetizer. - I kind of made a big deal about how good they were last time so that might have been why that stood out but all the same....
She gave me a run down if the specials of which I ordered the 10 oz sirloin and shrimp with a loaded baked potatoe and salad. Again she remembered I like my steak medium rare.
I am not one to order seafood very often, I'm more than a little weird if it has a 'fishy' smell to it. The steak was cooked properly, had a great flavor to it, and the shrimp were really good. Once again I was not disappointed with my meal. I failed to take a picture of the salad bar but I like the fact you can make your own salad and had several choices for dressing.
By the time I was close to finishing my meal the place was busy. So when one of the other waitress saw my beer was almost empty and placed the order, for another. The person who I would describe as the manager brought it over as Kristen had a large tray of food she was delivering to another table. I was impressed with the amount of teamwork displayed in this establishment... This does not seem very common.
