“I have a dog who is 13 years old. We adopted her when she was two and she is always had severe storm anxiety. As she's gotten older, it's gotten worse. Our vet put her on prescription medication at a very high dose. The problem with that is that we had to give it to her an hour in advance so we were constantly having to watch the weather and hope that after we gave it to her it didn't turn away from us or if we didn't give it to her that it didn't turn towards us. Even if we timed it right, it didn't really do anything for her anxiety. She would still pace around the house panting, shaking uncontrollably, and losing control of her bladder and bowels when it was bad. She would be in a daze for the rest of that day and several days after. My husband had heard about this company and we decided to try it mostly to help her arthritis but if it also helped with her storm anxiety then great. To be honest, I didn't think there was really anything that could help her considering the high doses of prescription sedatives that she had been given that never did a thing. The first day we gave it to her for her joints and she was noticeably more playful. She had a lot of energy, she wanted to play fetch, she wanted to run, she wanted to be young and playful again. The best part was after that she wasn't crying in pain. I was already sold that this was an amazing product but we had bad storms that same day and she did not react at all. If there was a loud clap of thunder she would lift her head and look at us and then go right back to what she was doing. She was not shaking, not pacing, not panting, not drooling, and she had no accidents in the house. She was just hanging out, playing with her toys, just acting like our other dog who has no storm anxiety at all. I wasn't sure if it was just a fluke because she had played so much and she was too exhausted to care but we've now had four pretty significant storms since then and she's been completely unfazed. The beauty is when the storm starts and she starts to pace and pants and shake I can give her half a dropper full and within about 10 minutes she starts to calm down. Within 15, at the most, she's completely unfazed...like nothing is happening. Storms in the middle of the night were always the worst for her and we had a bad one the other night. I woke up to the thunder and then found her shaking, drooling, panting and crying in her crate. I went and gave her half a dropper full (for her weight she can take a full dropper but we've never needed the full dose)and I sat with her. In about 10 minutes she was fine. It works fast and it works better than anything we've ever tried for her anxiety and her joint pain and stiffness and she has no side effects. A couple hours after we give it to her she's not in a zombie like state which is how she would be after her other pills that didn't even help her. I cannot put into words enough how amazing the CBD drops are for dogs. Hands down, the best product we have ever used in all of our years of owning her. My husband bought me some gummies several months ago and they were the best. All of my neck pain was completely resolved while I was taking them. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of them and neither can he. However, based on what I know of this company I don't think you could go wrong.
