“I haven’t felt well enough to go much of anywhere the last few years. But this afternoon. The only thing that has sound good to eat was a good hamburger . I haven’t been able to eat for about the last 3 weeks . But we went to Sammy’s and the burger was the best I have eaten in yrs and yrs . The staff were so nice !I used to go to that store when Mr Burt was there and it was Meador’s groc. There have been several owners since then. But they either had very little merchandise and/or the staff were horrible !I am SO GLAD that these owners are such sweet people! Also their live bait is half of what it is every where else . Lots and lots of fishing equipment. It’s just a really nice store .You will not be sorry that you stopped in and said hello ! Let’s show these people what a wonderful community Appleby is !Maybe if we all show them enough love . They will start to have all you can eat fish ! I know I would LOVE that !!”

“Large convience store pleanty of parking and reasonable gas prices. The serve hit food and not just finger food from their cafeteria style service counter. Beer, Wine Fountain drinks and restrooms. Handicapped parking and accessable entry. Service is not always fast but it is always there and never rude.”

“The stop at TA was very convenient when we needed a break from the road. Numerous snacks and drinks are available plus items that you don't find elsewhere. You can fuel up and check your vehicle before hitting the road again.”

“Went there for lunch today, with a coworker and we bother order the bacon double cheese burger, and let me tell you.... That sucker was exceptionally good. It was juicy, and thick and for only a couple more dollars we got fries and a fountain drink with it. The fries where delicious too. Service was excellent, and it had a down home feel that was very refreshing and there dinning area was clean and in order. Definitely would recommend for a quick bite to eat out here by the lake.”

“I am a truck driver and have been to some bad stops. This is not one of them for me. I can't comment on the bathrooms because I only stopped for breakfast and a monster. At first glance I liked ther was no dust on the little Debbie's. At 3 am they had stuff in their hot box. I almost didn't order based on how the eggs looked in the pan. They looked old. Hunger over took my brain and I'm glad it did. I got a biscuit with gray, a sausage patty and some eggs. I dang near licked the tray. If you get a chance don't let the look steer you away.”

“I have used Walgreens for years, but they were out of stock with my pain medication so I had to use CVS which was the worse experience I've ever had with a Pharmacy. So I thought I should give a good review for the Walgreen Pharmacy that takes care of me and has been good to me for years! Thank you Walgreen Pharmacy Employees for all you do!”

“I honestly wasn't expecting much, but I was impressed by the organization and cleanliness of the store as well as the friendliness of the cashiers. The photo center is located past the registers and the pharmacy is towards the very back of the store, and you'll find a wide variety of household and travel needs. They don't seem to get too terribly busy, so checkout is a breeze.”
