“My brother lives in West Orange. He is 70 years old and his only income is Social Security. The transmission shift linkage broke on his 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer and he was reduced to walking everywhere whenever he needed groceries or bottled water. I drove up from Houston to help him out, and some local residents recommended I check out Vidor Transmission Specialists. We went there and discussed the vehicle with Bobby Witt, and he was very empathetic and straightforward and offered to inspect it at no charge to determine the problem, so I asked him to arrange for a wrecker to pick up the vehicle. This was about 1:30 in the afternoon.
I then spent a few minutes talking with the owner, Robbi Witt (Bobby's father), who had just gotten back with some tacos he had bought for lunch. Robbi told me about the history of the business (they have been in business for more than 40 years), and he even shared a taco with me! My brother and I then met the wrecker at the vehicle, and had it towed in to the shop.
By 3:30, Bobby called me to let me know that it was a quick fix and that they had already completed the repairs! I drove my brother back to the shop, and was astounded that they only charged $120 for the repair, and that it was completed in the same afternoon! I have found that Robbi and Bobby are without question among the most honest and honerable people I have met.
I highly recommend Vidor Transmission Specialists (also known as Vidor Transmission Service on the BBB, or simply Vidor Transmission) to anyone that needs to have transmission work done. They are honest, efficient, and truly care about their customers!”

“Ed’s Automatic rebuilt my dreaded 10R80 transmission in my 2018 F150. The CDF drum bushing moved (picture below of the 2018 CDF drum) which is a matter of time on the 10R80 transmissions, and the team over here had me in and out in a week for a great price! You can YouTube CDF drum and it’s all over the internet, Flying Wrenches does a great video explaining it. My Truck runs and shifts great with the new revised CDF drum and it’s ready for another 100k miles! And you get a 12/12 warranty which is a relief! I’d highly recommend taking your Ford Expedition, F150 from 2018-2023 here if you have no warranty! Super nice, honest people and family owned.”

He let me know the belt was beginning to show some wear but that it probably should be changed 2 oil changes later.
