Best bank In New Braunfels. Been a loyal customer for over 20 years. Always friendly and willing to help with everything. I recommend Prosperity for everyone on the north side of New Braunfels.

I had my paycheck deposited into someone else's account but it was corrected the very next day. I've been banking here for many years and this is the first time this has happened. I'm still very satisfied. ?

We run a small business and it’s nice to go to a bank where people actually know who we are. We know them. They know us. When an issue comes up, the people we need are only one call away.

Instead of being welcome one of the ladies threw her hands up because I got there at 7:30am in the drive threw that is when it’s suppose to be open but yet wasn’t and instead of focusing on customer the 2 girls there was talking to each other. There is a time and place to talk to your coworkers needs to more professional.

Be ready to pay one and a half percent to cash a check if you do not have an account.

Where do i even start? First they allowed someone who wasnt me to deposit my check into their account. Without questioning it. The tellers are rude, obnoxious, and need to take a course in common courtesies and manners. I went one day to take out some money on the drive thru and they made a whole fuss about checking my identity. I had to pull up so they could see my face, give my secret word, re-sign something and they still refused to give me my money. Why didnt they do that the first time when my check was cashed by another person into their account? Ridiculous. Go anywhere but here.

As a veteran and independent contractor trying to work during the COVID-19 disaster, many of us are looking for relief during this time of need. The importance of having accurate, up-to-date information on your website is critical when your going to offer help to our business owners. Even more so is that the employees are aware of the information being shared so they can speak to it with accuracy. SBA made the PPP available and this bank was listed as one that was taking applicants. Like many other banks they posted there details on eligibility for the loan. It stated that independent contractors were eligible as long as they were in business by Feb. 15 2020. While other banks specifically had an additional criteria of having an account by a specific date with them, prosperity did not. Upon calling to speak to a loan officer was double checking the information to be sure and was told that they are not honoring the eligibility requirements of independent contractors and to be on the lookout for a new SBA loan program that might help. I hope for the benefit of the communities this bank and/or this loan officer is serving, that they get on the right page. This is not what I look for from a banking institution when I need help.
