Sophie's Gasthaus is a charming and unique home away from home, described as both a beautiful home and a hotel. It is a stunning property in an ideal location, considered an oasis for anyone traveling to experience New Braunfels or Gruene. The venue is lovely and intimate, suitable for group events or a fun visit on the fly. The rooms are consistently noted as gorgeous, clean, well-appointed, and fabulous, with very cool artwork. Guests find it easy to get comfortable. The pool area and clubhouse are perfect, and the large, fenced yard is a highlight for pets, making it a pet-friendly stay. The landscape in the back with many different species of trees is also enjoyed. The property offers gated parking. Service is excellent, with staff members noted as very responsive, helpful, and nice, providing perfect restaurant and cocktail bar recommendations. They are a constant help for guests. Other guests are often respectful and friendly. The overall experience is highly recommended, with many guests stating it is the best place they've stayed, a pretty special spot they can't wait to visit again, and an experience they will never forget.
Beautiful house and great location. We had the two bedroom upstairs and it great for our family of 4. We will be back.

Beautifully decorated home with everything you might need on your stay. Perfect location to the growing nightlife scene is within walking distance but not so close that noise is an issue. Can't wait until our next stay.

Very nice place - well situated for lots of restaurants and bars. Bed was very comfortable. Pool was really nice. Loved the easy entrance codes for the room and gate and private parking was nice. The only things I would improve is the coffee selection and maybe having some muffins or pastries out in the morning.
