“As a wedding creative The Chandelier of Gruene is dreamy in so many ways. The chapel is open air with optional clear covers on the sides for rain; talk about thoughtful. When you step into the chapel you can feel the Holy Spirit, as a person of Faith it’s evident the space is blessed. Deer grazing, birds chirping, and they focus on keeping the environment thriving for everyone to enjoy. A copious amount of photo/video opportunities from the long driveway in, greenery behind the chapel, and of course with the chapel as the background. To add to the loveliness they have a swing which boosts the charm. The reception area is incredibly spacious from micro to massive, it’ll accommodate your wedding vision and guests.
When the night strikes TCOG comes alive in a whole new way. Fire pits outside to warm those cool Texas nights and gives guests even more space to feel at home, chat, and just reflect on the momentous day at hand. “I just recently went fishing at this spot. It was late. Nobody was there. So it was super chill . Me and my boyfriend stayed for a few hours . We seen the fog come in. It was nice. There was also 2 ducks just chilling. I tried to get a pic but all you can really see is the eyes glowing. The fog was a little thick.”
“Clay Casa is a wonderful ceramics studio! My family went here for one of their workshops, which they do twice a month. We got to build our own ceramic creations and go back to paint them. The experience was extremely fun, and the staff are very patient, helpful, and friendly. It was all for an astonishingly affordable price! Definitely worth it, and I really want to come back for more projects.”

Our wedding at L&L Walhalla in New Braunfels was truly everything we dreamed of and more. From the very first visit, we knew this was the place and we didn’t need to look elsewhere. The venue’s location right on the river is absolutely breathtaking — peaceful, romantic, and surrounded by the kind of Hill Country beauty that makes every photo look magical.
The chapel took our breath away with its open stunning views and soft natural light, and the reception space was just as beautiful — elegant yet warm and inviting. The atmosphere throughout the day felt joyful and relaxed, exactly what we had hoped for. The catering was phenomenal, and so many of our guests raved about how delicious everything was.
Dawn, the venue coordinator was incredible — organized, kind, and genuinely cared about making us feel at home from the start. Rodney, the owner, was so welcoming and attentive. You can tell how much pride he takes in this venue and how much heart and work he puts into making every couple’s experience special.
From start to finish, everything about L&L Walhalla exceeded our expectations. It’s not just a venue — it’s a place that feels like home, filled with heart, and unforgettable memories. We’ll cherish our special day there forever. ❤️”

“Just went here for a family event, it was cute, cozy and provided plenty of authentic Texas vibes! Beautiful hardwood floors. Convenient and easily accessible spot in central New Braunfels. Staff was friendly and bar pricing was very reasonable.”
“Homie stay with affordable pricing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms provided suite with a well setup kitchenet. Bonus cooking appliance could be borrowed from the lobby as well. Great boardgame collection offered along with fresh beans, fresh brewed coffee (that actually tasted very good)! Gym, outdoor pull with grills, and free laundry machines. The beds are not the softest but the pillows and blankets are. This is by no means a shiny new hotel but was very comfortable, clean, and accommodating.”
“We had a pleasant experience at this location, I drove all the way from austin to this location because the other locations were unpleasant and unclean.
The front desk women were very helpful and kind, we arrived around 12pm on a saturday it was not crowded, we got the ultimate passes $133 for myself and 3 children. We spent 4 hours here, the place was clean I saw a staff member cleaning and sweeping, as she saw trash. I saw many staff members walking Around the team was attentive. I appreciated the structure. We got the cheese pizza which was great. my only dislike was an ICEE was $6 for a large but no refills available. And youre able to bring your own water cans but had to purchase $3 water bottles (if you prefer clean water) adding to that i saw many pitchers of water being passed out but only for customer that had a birthday, I thought it unfair both parties i and they were both paying customers but I wasnt allowed to purchase a pitcher of water. Other than that we will definitely visit again!”

Melendie helped us with the booking process and getting everything set up. Jo was our day-of-coordinator, and could not have been more perfect! The whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. They even offered us to come back for a picnic on our one year anniversary! We loved this place 🩷”
