Me n my siblings had to stay there with my mom wen she was going thru a bad situation, the staff was very respectful and nice. It was clean and the environment made us feel really safe. They pointed me n my mom in the right direction and even gave us classes on DV. The rules s fit for an environment like that and absolutely helps with order and the safe zone policies. There needs to be more places like this in texas

This place is a very very safe place...for anybody that enters there. The staff is so caring. The energy and vibes are very none judgemental and they really help to point you in the right direction to get back on track in life. The staff is never hostile or aggressive twards clients and they maintain very professional demeanor.

The employees in formed me the are not qualified for anyone who has experienced trauma from abuse or trafficking. All the children there were sick, my daughter wasn't even there but 3 days before she caught a stomach bug. The cleaning lady was accusing me of throwing diapers in the kitchen trash. I did not. They show favoritism is specific people. Obviously, i was not one and was thrown out for no reason. I had not broken any policies other than having a bag of trash in my room because I had been sick the week before. I was told i had to leave because I was a victim of trafficking. I had no idea there was a difference. I finally felt open enough to speak just to have my words twisted around and used against me. Thank you for placing a single mother with a 2 year old who are victims of trafficking back in harms way. They accept as many people as they can and leave them on the street homeless without any second thought. This place should not be funded, and it is not a safe place for anyone.
I honestly felt I made a bad decision in choosing this place to relocate in from Austin TX. I felt betrayed and singled out. The staff had no problem saying that I was not acting aggressively and that I didn't confront anyone. And because I chose to talk about my experiences.... I was only seeking comfort and reassurance of being safe. That simple decision and cold shoulder is not what a victim of trafficking/ domestic violence needs. It honestly traumatized me more. Which is why I will not remain silent. I'm speaking up because I know I'm not the only one.

I was here a few months ago I got kicked out of the shelter due to being hospitalized because of untreated mental health issues

Worst place to go and feel safe when woman there steal and fight and it’s very uncomfortable and staff are very disrespectful this place needs to be shut down for good it’s dirty and disgusting

Used to live there with my mom and my other two siblings it was all good until a lady asked us to babysit their kid and we said we couldn’t and we watched him for a little bit and she was like OK give him to this lady and turns out the mom didn’t even get a background check on that lady and we got put out because of it and almost went homeless so if you live there and you have kids and you need to go to work don’t leave them with nobody put them in a daycare
