Market Basket is a full store with friendly and nice staff. The place is clean. It is preferred over other area stores. They cook great hot meals on site, with an amazing deli side perfect for a fast, affordable lunch. The meat selection is on point. They carry unique items like Dougets roux for gumbo and little pork things wrapped in bacon, which are cheaper with a discount card. They also have a favorite Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream and beautiful floral arrangements. Additional services include buying fishing licenses and paying utility bills, likely through Western Union. Prices can be higher on some things.
Place is clean to include the bathroom. I prefer this store over any other in the area. Staff have always been nice and the hot meals are great for lunch when I am around and wish for a fast meal that will not break the bank.
