Being the mother of three daughters, these women were such a huge blessing! We were able to find a bridesmaid dress as well as a formal dress for my youngest band formal. Thank you ladies!”
“I have had 3 little chihuahuas spayed here. They are great doctors. I didn't have any problems with my girls. Their shots, heartworm, flea and tick medications are a lot cheaper. I go there each year for shots and heartworm testing and meds.

“The Bunny Burrow Rabbit Rescue is an AMAZING rescue!! They put so much thought and care to each and every bunny that comes through. I adopted my bunny, Winnie (formerly November), from them in May 2024. Almost a year and a half later and I still receive any support from them I need! They also have everything you could need for a bunny there. They have the best bunny toys in store at a low price. There’s grooming and boarding by knowledgeable bunny owners, Winnie was boarded there and I was never worried about how she was being cared for! I couldn’t recommend this rescue to anyone enough who is looking to adopt a rabbit or needs anything for their rabbits.”

VFW Post 9190, Established in 1962, is one of the better VFW's. I do wish that when you Google them, that the Google location data provided their hours when they open up the canteen and when they close said canteen. It might be listen on their website, but unfortunately I have yet to peruse that platform as of yet, and of course before I 5 stared them and placed this long winded paragraph for everyone and anyone to enjoy my plethora of rhetorical insightful blithering banter. Regardless, I plan to hang out there, in their canteen, today, the 7th of July, 2024. I just wished it was easier to find out their hours modus operandi schedules, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera ... ?

“We are so happy with Lonestar ABA and in the 1 month we have seen improvement in our son. You can tell they care about your child and the BCBA’s really get to know your child to set up the roadmap for therapy. They also offer amazing activities for the family to join in on. We attended a fall festival with games for everyone and a petting zoo and they just had a sensory friendly Santa event where they took family pictures with Santa! I couldn’t be happier here and highly recommend Lonestar ABA.”

“I love this Y! My family and I have been going here since we became Y members 5 years ago. Rodney at the front desk is always welcoming and very warm and friendly - his smile makes me happy every time I pass by! My kids love the childcare while I workout, or when my mother in law comes to the Y on the days she is babysitting. My kids have been in Y sports, dance and swim classes throughout the years - coaches and instructors are so caring. This place keeps my whole family healthy and happy!”

“I'm writing this review after hearing about the DFW Writer's Workshop for nearly two years, but having just visited as a guest. (Guests can listen in on the sessions, but you do need to be a member to give feedback or share your work during the readings.) This is a welcoming, professional, and friendly group of writers. During the session I sat in on, I heard excerpts from fiction, a non-fiction work on the Vietnam war, and modern poetry from a young Black poet. The attendees are diverse in age, race, and ability level - I had a great time and am about to become a member.If you're used to professional writer's workshops (as opposed to informal groups like NaNoWriMo), you'll be right at home here. But if you become a member, do expect to receive honest, constructive critique from writers who want to help you. I got nothing of a "cliquish" vibe or any feeling of hostility from this group. I look forward to going back.”

“My daughter is always sad when her week of camp comes to an end. This past Friday she got in the car at pickup and sounded down. I asked her what was wrong and she said “I’m just sad that camp is over. Will you sign me up again for next year?” Of course I will! Her week at Camp Thurman is the sleep she gets all summer cause she is so worn out at the end of each day. Despite the temps of 104-107 she never got a sunburn. They ensured all the kids safety with reapplying sunscreen. Pickup and drop off are extremely efficient despite the amount of kids they have attending!”
