“It is so hard to find a camp that is more than just childcare. YogiSquad created a camp that is enriching, fun, and focused on learning, mindfulness, and movement. My son loved every day and came home with fun crafts and stories. It's exciting to know that they bring this programming out into the community at underserved schools, community centers, and childcare facilities. I hope our community knows how lucky we are to have YogiSquad!”
“My husband and I found First Street Methodist during the darkest times we could have imagined. They served us a generous lunch with the best lemonade around and we were able to get clothing and shoes as well. Everyone was so kind and respectful. We have since been blessed with our new home and we are still welcome to attend the food pantry once a month. Feels so good to say home. Thank you all for keeping our spirits lifted and full of hope ?”

“I'm so very grateful for Hollie, Jaime and the education team at James West. As a family caregiver of a parent with Alzheimer's Disease, I was struggling. Mom's neurologist gave me zero information regarding the changes and decline ahead. The education team and support group saved me. They gave me hands on solutions and honest expectations of the difficult tasks ahead. The James West team has changed my caregiving for the better. They are priceless.”
“Initially, I was not happy with Cornerstone Staffing because I had scheduled an interview and was stood up. I was frustrated because I am genuinely searching for employment and felt that behavior was unprofessional. I am not sure what happened. Ashley from Cornerstone reached out after that experience and made a point of contacting me and let me know she was sorry about the experience I had and that they are good about following up with job seekers. She has been very responsive and helpful to guide me through the process to get set up with Cornerstone Staffing and I feel she has gone above and beyond and I greatly appreciate her efforts. Thank You to Ashley for the help and support!”

“I love doing individual workouts at this location or joining one of their many group exercise classes. The facility is clean and has a spacious layout with two studios for group classes and separate cardio and weight rooms. They offer a diverse selection of group fitness classes from yoga to Zumba. There’s a variety of morning and afternoon time slots to fit a class in with your schedule. All the instructors are phenomenal! I’d highly recommend Northwest YMCA.”

“Greetings & Salutations,
VFW Post 9190, Established in 1962, is one of the better VFW's. I do wish that when you Google them, that the Google location data provided their hours when they open up the canteen and when they close said canteen. It might be listen on their website, but unfortunately I have yet to peruse that platform as of yet, and of course before I 5 stared them and placed this long winded paragraph for everyone and anyone to enjoy my plethora of rhetorical insightful blithering banter. Regardless, I plan to hang out there, in their canteen, today, the 7th of July, 2024. I just wished it was easier to find out their hours modus operandi schedules, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera ... ?
Sincerely,
Lt Colonel Special Forces Michael (FlipSide) Densmore”

I will forever be grateful to you Ma'am because you stood to your words.”

“Good afternoon my name is Fern Jinkins. I want to share I love this ministry. Raven is truly a blessing to women, families, and the entire community. Their ministry opens doors for women in need with compassion, dignity, and genuine love. They provide essential support by feeding families, providing clothing, and giving generous donations that make a real difference in people’s lives. Sandra has been a tremendous blessing not only to me personally, but also to my family, our church, and our nonprofit, Heather Hopes Inc. Their willingness to serve and give has strengthened our ability to help others in our community. Sandra Stanley is truly God-sent a heavenly angel whose heart for service reflects God’s love. Her leadership is inspiring, and her staff is remarkable, professional, and deeply committed to helping those in need. Sandra Stanley ministry is amazing, impactful, and life-changing. They are a shining example of what true ministry and community service should look like. I am deeply grateful for all they do. Because of her I have been empowered, restored and blessed.”

“My wife and I cannot say enough great things about our flight. From the moment we walked inside, the people made us feel welcome with smiling faces and genuine happiness that we were there. On our flight to see the Christmas lights around Fort Worth, my wife accidentally dropped her phone. It fell beneath the floor of the aircraft and we could not retrieve it. When we landed, the entire flight crew worked to try to get the phone back. They ultimately had to remove part of the floor to retrieve her cell phone. There was never a moment that they acted like it was an inconvenience. They made us laugh and made us feel better about causing the issue. We were so fortunate to meet them after the last flight of the evening and to tour the museum when we retrieved the telephone. The awesome selfies that they took when they found our phone were hilarious! Thank you guys, you are wonderful.”

“Highway hounds it’s such a great rescue in the Fort Worth, Weatherford area. The volunteers and fosters with this group try to give second chances to those that are on the euthanasia list of most shelters in the area. They try to help adopt out and transfer animals to loving homes. Such a great experience fostering for them!!! I love this rescue ❤️”
“Today I stopped in and had lunch. I was greeted by the kindest young man named Noah. I told him I have never been here before and I would like for him to pick my lunch entrée out, he did. Today I had the fall harvest Brussels bowl with chicken. It was excellent the chicken was wonderful and the salad had everything and more it was great. I highly recommend. Mr. Noah made my day great after spending the morning in the hospital with my father. Salute.”

The place is nice and employees are so helpful.”
“In 1974, Carla Walker was abducted from the parking lot here, which was then a bowling alley. Carla was found murdered days later in a culvert on road to Benbrook Lake. Glenn McCurley was found guilty of Carla’s murder and sentenced to life in prison in 2021.”
