Alamo Thrift Store is a blatant lie and scam artist. They lead people to believe that the items being donated will be given away or donated to those in need when in reality they use the items donated to make as much as they can off it. The employees are severely underpaid. There are things done and said in this store that would have it shut down if it was made public.

I like this place and how organized it is. The staff is friendly. Just the prices are way too much for items.

Clothing at a fair price, but way over priced on used electronics and toys. Even with 50% discounts. Don’t waist your time at this location.

Nice finds, clean store. Customer service needs improvement, the girl looked and acted like she didn't want to be there. No greeting, didn't acknowledge, I had to ask if she was even cashier.

Been coming here for years its usually a really nice place to go and adorable. This last time I came though the cashier was very rude and impatient. Probably not gunnu come back. It doesn't cost you anything to be nice back to someone.

I wish I could give this place 5 stars, because it is truly one of the nicest. best organized thrift stores I have seen. The prices really are much higher than they should be on many items. They have zero idea of the actual value of items. This is good and bad. The good, I picked up one of the most unique lamps I have ever seen. I paid $40. At Goodwill it would have been $10. However, I will be able to resale this lamp for at least $400. The bad, they had a mid-century porcelain figurine of two Siamese cats. They had it listed at $189. A quick Google lens search shows that it is only worth $30. Absolutely ridiculous. They also have a used queen bedroom set listed at $1199. I just bought a brand new king bedroom set for my daughter at Excusive furniture for $1300. It was so much nicer and better quality wood than their used, banged up queen set. I will probably occasionally check this place, but not on the regular.

We have really enjoyed going to Alamo for years. Always organized. Usually lots of selections (of course that varies), reasonable prices, especially when you buy the color tags on sale that day! BUT…. today they went over and above the call of duty! My wife left an item (bag) we bought on the counter three days ago, and the manager took the time to receive a copy of the receipt, use the time stamp to find the spot on the security cameras, review it, and then FOLLOW the item from one employee to another as it was handled, and after being unable to find who bought it, finally returned it to stock. I was allowed to come back today, find it, and take it home! I was very impressed AND GRATEFUL for the care with which this was handled! I have recommended Alamo to many a friend over the last 20+ years, but now even more so! Twas a wonderful experience resolving this today. THANK YOU ALAMO THRIFT!!!!

seems like every one complaining about the prices want everything given to them. This place has tons of great deals especially since buying new clothes costs so much now. yeah there are some things that are high value items, but that's EVERYWHERE.

Nothing about this store is thrifting. Expensive. Y'all are crazy.
