“Needed to get my kitty to a veterinarian quickly. The cat had a real bad seizure. He is diabetic and needed tests to determine if he had hypoglycemia. I was glad to find Pearland Animal hospital after trying two other places. It was after 4:00 p.m. and they took us in. Staff and personnel were very caring. I waited until we got the results of the tests. The doctor explained everything patiently. I was also emailed a copy of the findings and recommendations. I believe this is a really good place to treat our fur babies.”

The entire staff is just as wonderful. I’m always greeted with kindness the moment I walk in, and it’s obvious they genuinely love my fur baby. Being able to leave my dog in their care without stress or worry about how he’s being treated is priceless.
They always keep me in the loop during every visit and go above and beyond. Unlike other clinics that only tell you the basics, they make sure I understand everything—from eating habits and treatments to everyday care.

“Dr. Vanderford is an angel in disguise! He’s truly gifted when it comes to both treating and calming animals. My chiweenie is extremely anxious and Dr. Vanderford had him so relaxed and put him right at ease. He also properly diagnosed my dog with CDA which answered so many questions about his hair loss (a totally different vet clinic insisted it was mange) this staff is a godsend!”
“I was surprised how quick it was even though there was a line. Just a little pushy about administering their particular heartworm medicine and somewhat condescending when explaining why ita better. I had been using heartworm medicine in pill form for both of my dogs and they have never had heart worms, going on 3 years now.”

“I’ve been taking my pets to Banfield since 1992! They’ve been there for us through sick pets, wellness checks, losing our beloved pets and wouldn’t go anywhere else. At times they’ve had some training issues but that’s anywhere you go. We like paying monthly for things our dogs will need throughout the year, like shots, checkups, bloodwork for preventative things, teeth cleaning etc.”

We so appreciate everyone at Silverlake Animal Hospital. We’ve taken our dog, Cocoa to them since June ‘20. We said goodbye to our 13 year old Cocoa and they were so caring and helpful during the decision process. Dr. Stone explained our choices and let us decide our path. I highly recommend all of the veterinarians and each member of the staff. Rachael, one of the veterinarian technicians even offered to drive medication to us because we live near her. That was so thoughtful and very much appreciated. ❤️
Dr.Stone performed surgery on our dog Cocoa for a torn CCL in her left leg (6/2020,) and also performed surgery 1/2024 on Cocoa’s right leg. Cocoa is now recovering from her 2nd surgery. So far so good. We return in 2 weeks.
Dr. Stone also presented us with a new pain management option that seems to be very effective.
Cocoa (age 11) never minds visiting the clinic and is seemingly very happy to see the techs and Dr. Stone during our appointments. I would highly recommend Silverlake Animal Hospital as we have had great results with treatment for Cocoa.”
