“Beautiful space for a small bookstore, and a wonderful, wide-ranging selection of books across genres. What a great addition to the Austin bookstore scene as well as the cultural and social offerings in the neighborhood!”
“I had a bunch of books and records laying around and was about to toss them; then I thought man I bet I can sell these, and sure enough took them in to store and made $28. Great inventory of games books and vintage knicknacks and stuff”
“I don't visit Austin often, but whenever I do, I make it a point to make my pilgrimage over to Kinokuniya. This place's selection of imported goods is unmatched anywhere else I've seen. I'm an especially big fan of the clear files, imported magazines, and art books. Some items can be marked up a bit, but it's nothing out of line with markups you'd see at, say, a Barnes and Noble. Even if they don't have something you're looking for, let them know and they'll get it shipped! This place is fantastic, and if you're on the fence about going, just go!”
“My kids love this place!
The staff is always nice and helpful. It’s a little known fact that they actually give a lot back to the community- specifically to the local schools. If you haven’t ever stopped by this location, you should definitely give them a try. ? ♻️”
“My 2 year old just had her first dance class here, and the teacher was incredible!! We will definitely be signing up due to her kind, engaging personality. Looking forward to many classes to come and getting my older started too!”
“The vibes of this place feel off... there was a big patch of empty space in the store without any shelves or displays. The art for sale in the gallery is a bit overpriced for digital prints, though it's not unexpected considering the artist only gets to put one print up and have it up for a long time. I was about to leave the store when I found a cool toy line consisting of animals you can take apart into anatomical meat pieces. If I didn't find such a cool unique thing I probably would've labeled this place as a rather average run of the mill anime figurine store.”
“Recycled Reads is my favorite books store. You never know what you’ll find and the prices can’t be beat! 50 cents for all children’s and YA books, including hardcover. $2 for adult fiction hardcover. $.50 - $1 for all paperback adult fiction.”
“This place is so fun because there always something to buy, whether it's the latest fiction novel or the latest graphic novel. Also, you can't resist Starbucks. Drink a fresh beverage and enjoy a fresh treat. It's great!”
“I love the ever changing selection of books, toys and games. All of the staff are more than willing to help you find something or answer your questions. It’s a great place to spend a weekend afternoon.”
“Great place to sell books that are sitting around collecting dust. They won't pay a lot but it's better than nothing. ?
The Half Price Books near Parmer and Mopac is a nice store and the staff is friendly.”
“Cool space! I didn't stay for very long but I found a couple things that I liked including a calvin and hobbes comic and some poetry. It's pay by donation and I also grabbed a couple free stickers so I paid about $10.”
“I am a huge fan of this local bookstore and try to support them as frequently as possible. Every interaction I have had with staff has been very positive, both in person and over the phone. Audrey (my namesake haha) gave me great book recommendations on disability justice the last time I visited. I appreciate that they demonstrate their values by still requiring masks in store. It makes me feel much more safe and comfortable as an immunocompromised person to take my time and browse their amazing and diverse collection.”

“Get some really cool stuff here. This Goodwill only gets donations from the neighborhood. There are No clothes, furniture, outdoor equipment , bikes here. I walk there almost every other day. Cool little place. I love the 3 ladies that work there! They are a hoot!”
“Our own locally-owned bookstore in Pflugerville with a cat, beautiful displays, and a snack room. It is a little oasis. I find lots of treasures for my classroom and for me!”
