“A LOT of y'all's reviews are from people who do not understand Aldi, period, so let me educate you:

- You do not PAY 25 cents for a cart lol. They offset their costs by INCENTIVIZING you to return your cart and get the quarter BACK. To get it back, you push the chain into the slot, and your quarter pops back out.
- They only have up to 6 employees working at a time, and all self check outs are credit card only. They pay these employees up to 25/hr, which is amazing.
- They do not have a customer service desk, again, because they are trying to pass along cheaper prices.
- They HAVE to keep moving while helping you, bc there is a small space in which to move, and there are so few stockers.
- They NEVER bag your groceries. This is a known POLICY of theirs. That is why there is an entire shelf where you bag your own, with either bags you bring or buy, or free leftover boxes from the shelves.
- Do not take the extra carts from beside the cashiers; they use the extra carts to load you up more quickly.
- To the person complaining that they move too quickly? Geez what a 1st world problem lol..I have NEVER had them ring me up incorrectly, and I LOVE how quickly I can get in and out of the store!”

“Its not Arlans anymore-This place was formerly minimax. Back then it was like 50's time warp. A few years ago it was taken over by Arlan's, a small chain. It was a big improvement, more produce, better products, better hours and more. As of Spring 2021 it has been taken over by Fresh Plus. As of Sept 2021 they are still re-arranging and re-stocking the store so in some respects it is a work in progress. But what I've seen so far is a reduction in the variety of products they carry (especially produce) . You don't shop here if your on a budget as well. They do have an expanded beer and wine selection which seems to take up about 1/5 of the store now, I guess that's what sells at greater margins. The other "neighborhood" grocery stores have similar footprints for booze.Hours got cut (they close at 9) from Arlans, not quite as much charm either. The last of the mini-max era people have left as well. We'll see how it finally shakes out.It still a good place to go to pick up something fast (if they ever quit moving things around and you can find it).”

“It is a place completely for what you are looking for, name in Spanish, product for Latinos, but I had the grace of meeting the Indian-Pakistani owners, well, they found the American dream with Latinos.”

“Overall, good store. It has a good selection from different countries. Staff is very helpful and sweet. Most of the food is reasonably priced, and I like the variety of meat and seafood they have to offer. They have a food court, and their breakfast is very tasty. I recommend the fried bread and soy milk.

The produce section has seen better days and the last few trips, I've noticed mouldy fruits, and insects in the produce. Hopefully they clean it up.”

“"Great selection of fresh Halal meat and a wide variety of groceries from both India and Pakistan. It's a go-to spot for authentic ingredients! The only downside is that prices can be slightly on the higher side. Overall, it’s a convenient place for finding quality South Asian essentials. My reviews as a YouTuber channel name is Travelfamily.canada."”
