“Small, very crowded, and not enough parking. There are three Asian supermarkets in Austin. For Chinese - 99 Ranch Market. For Korean - H-Mart near Lakeline Mall. For Vietnamese - My Thanh, North Lamar.”

“In a super clean, very organized supermarket, good service and you get Latin products, which you won't get in supermarket chains. The cashiers are very friendly.”

“Its not Arlans anymore-This place was formerly minimax. Back then it was like 50's time warp. A few years ago it was taken over by Arlan's, a small chain. It was a big improvement, more produce, better products, better hours and more. As of Spring 2021 it has been taken over by Fresh Plus. As of Sept 2021 they are still re-arranging and re-stocking the store so in some respects it is a work in progress. But what I've seen so far is a reduction in the variety of products they carry (especially produce) . You don't shop here if your on a budget as well. They do have an expanded beer and wine selection which seems to take up about 1/5 of the store now, I guess that's what sells at greater margins. The other "neighborhood" grocery stores have similar footprints for booze.Hours got cut (they close at 9) from Arlans, not quite as much charm either. The last of the mini-max era people have left as well. We'll see how it finally shakes out.It still a good place to go to pick up something fast (if they ever quit moving things around and you can find it).”

“I hadn't been back here in a decade since I moved out of the neighborhood. It has since been remodeled and looks way more like a regular grocery store. I think it maybe lost a bit of its charm, but the pre-made chicken salad and tuna salad were both still delicious, and it was totally empty so made for a very quick stop for some snacks.”

“I love that they still allow regular non restaurant owners to buy groceries from them. You just have to go pickup now. Their $20 produce box never fails to be an amazing deal with super fresh and delicious items.”

“If you're indecisive about what to get, get the Gordita! That's the best thing I've had here so far. Before this, I'd tried "safe" things for someone not familiar with Mexican culture- quesadillas and caldo. Those were ok, but I figured I had to trust them with more unfamiliar Mexican dishes, and it really paid off! My fiance eats a keto diet, so he always gets their fajitas or barbacoa by the pound. We like it enough, we keep coming back!”
