“This place is older. You can expect what you can expect from that. Leighanna, though, at the front desk was PHENOMENAL!!! I booked thru Expedia and they messed up my reservation. Leighanna made it all work out just as I had needed to begin with.”

“Decent hotel. Beds weren’t super comfortable and for a newer hotel it’s already showing a lot of wear & tear in the rooms, so could definitely use better upkeep.
My room’s a/c never really got cold and the room had a weird musty smell to it.
But might stay here again if it were convenient.
The breakfast was hands down the best breakfast I’ve had Marriott’s Select Properties. (The lady making the food was also very sweet!)”
“I would've rate it a 5 star but it happens to be your bar lounge was closed of all of days I choose to stay here, hopefully next time I come back it will be open but other than that everything was great.”
“Great stay on multiple occasions. The staff is extremely friendly. Free laundry is a bonus. Great location close to lots of restaurants and stuff in mcallen
Rooms: Good long term stay rooms. Full size fridge. Small TV for the room size
Nearby activities: Restaurants, golf course adjacent. Very near the airport and the Plaza mall.
Walkability: Pretty walkable as far as texas goes, but not like "urban walkable"”
“Overall clean and friendly staff.
Only down side no fridge or microwave in the rooms.
Also was told that the website mentioned the elevator was not working, which it did not, so I had my parents walking to the 3rd floor. They need to have better notification to guests prior to check in in these events”

“GREAT location - a short walk across the parking lot to the hospital (about 50 yards) - closest of any nearby hotel. Huge parking lot that can easily handle any size RV, truck, van or handicap vehicle. Very understanding/kind Front Desk that will allow you to remain parked in their lot after check-out if you're waiting for your loved-one to be released from the hospital. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Restaurants close by and within walking distance. Perfect location if using the hospital. Easy to find with nearby on/off ramps.”
“We stayed here because we got a new pet dog. None of our usual hotels accept pets so we chose this place since they are pet friendly. The room we stayed in was nice and clean. Room service is only every 3 days so that was a bummer but not a deal breaker. Walmart and HEB are close. Bunch of restaurants are also close by.”

“I would always book my out of town visitors and guests at the Echo but since they shut down there excellent restaurant I book them elsewhere. If they ever reopen the restaurant with the same quality as before I will resume using their services.”

“I recently stayed at Studio 6, and it was such a peaceful and relaxing experience from start to finish. The entire hotel had a fresh, clean scent that made it feel inviting the moment I walked in. My room was quiet, cozy, and perfect for unwinding, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable—I slept better than I have in a long time. Honestly, it was way better than staying at the other hotel I’ve tried in the area. Everything from the calm atmosphere to the overall cleanliness made this stay stand out. I’m giving it a well-deserved 5 stars and would absolutely stay here again!”

“My first visit was a good one. Although, the room with carpet needs work and pest control. Availability was limited and was only able to stay for one night. Staff was friendly and quick to attend my needs. Cleanliness for the rooms was great although I did find some cockroaches in the furniture.Nearby activities: Close to alot of stores and shopping centers.”
“Good value for money. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, there are details that can be improved. The pool is very good. Breakfast needs to improve, it's practically coffee, juice and bread.A few minutes from the plaza mall and shopping centers.”

“The only inconvenience is no microwave or fridge in the rooms we'll at least one I booked didn't, also no complimentary breakfast. Overall was good experience . Yes like other reviews the walls are not sound proof”
