“I have frequented this amazing butcher because it is privately owned. Always a butcher you could trust: honest, hardworking, an amazing team, great specials, and I never minded paying more for meat I know comes from a locally sourced Texas rancher. Now that it will come under new ownership. We, locals, HOPE things will not change. For instance, cheaper cuts of beef from other states or from Argentina. Most importantly, lab-created beef. Some of us have the fiscal abundance to have red meat tested at Texas A&M and elsewhere. New owners [ you three], I hope you have the same integrity as the original owner(s) of Hirsch. Cheers,”

“We have been buying halal zabihah meat in the Plano area for 26 years. These guys were Royal Halal Meat before they sold a few years ago, and now they're back in a better, bigger place. Plano Halal Meat is the best in the business of halal meat in the area. Firstly, unparalleled cleanliness compared to any butcher shop, smiling and welcoming staff, honest and efficient service, and the best meat most of the time - especially goat. Lastly, and most importantly, the owner(s) run the show to ensure customer satisfaction, and they lead by example with utmost honesty, truly taking care of their employees, which makes this place really special. Wish they keep up the great work and continued success.”

“Their marinated chicken is super good, made with olive oil and house-made masala. Have been buying regularly since last 2 months and have not been disappointed with chicken freshness. You can cook in oven as well as traditional pan. Just need to be consistent in their marination flavors a bit, reduced one star for the same. 7/22/26 - When can we see the marinated chicken again !”
