Coyote Creek Park is a beautiful, well-kept park and somewhat a hidden gem. It is not highly trafficked and never really crowded. The park contains a good, relatively new playground with unique features and plenty of space for free play. There is a large open field, a jogging/cycling track, basketball courts, and a very good picnic area with plenty of tables. Lots of shade and seating is available. Note there are no public bathrooms, but the library is a short walk away. A creek runs along the west side, so watch for mosquitoes in warmer months.
Per my 9 yr old child- so easy to go to, never really crowded unless something special happens. So much nostalgia from that place.

Very good park near Parr library. Lot of greenery as well. Kids love coming to this place and habgout.

Personally this is one of my favorites. There is plenty space for free play and there is a playground big enough. Also there is a jogging/cycling track and basketball courts.
