Windhaven Park is a popular destination for families in the Plano area. The park features a well-maintained dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs, as well as miles of paved hiking trails that are enjoyed by both people and their furry companions. The playground is a highlight, with a great splash pad and a unique "spider park" area with mesh ropes for kids to climb. Restrooms and picnic tables are provided, and the lifeguards at the adjacent water area are described as professional and attentive. While the water quality could be improved, overall, Windhaven Park is highly recommended, with many nice people and a meticulously cared-for facility.

lots of the photos on this page are for Tom Mulenbeck Rec Center. Anything that has a pool or a slide is going to be at Tom Mulenbeck. There is a splash pad and an excellent playground at Windhaven Meadows. There is also a big dog park that has sections for large dogs and small dogs. 9/10 Would Recommend
