I am an owner in a local fitness studio called Body Machine Fitness. I recommend all of my clients to Dallas running company because I know they will be taken care of.Over the years I have been to pretty much all of the running stores in the metroplex. They all carry pretty much the same shoes, but the experience can be wildly different from one store or location to another. In my experience, many employees don’t know what they are talking about. It’s as if they aren’t runners or haven’t been trained in anatomy. It ends up being a very inconsistent experience. It used to be where I would recommend that somebody go to such and such store but only see one particular person because they know what they are talking about, but if they are not there, then leave.Here, everyone is thoroughly trained and extremely patient. They will work with you as long as you need to to make sure they get everything perfect for you. I think it’s extremely smart that they start with a 3-D body scan of your foot to understand your anatomy and which shoe manufactures might fit your feet the best as a starting point. I think this removes a lot of guest work out of the equation. Then, they analyze your gait and recommend orthotics (special corrective insoles) if you need them. As an example, recently one particular shoe I really loved from ASICS is no longer made anymore, so I had to find a different shoe that works for me. I spent over an hour in the store trying on different shoes… after I settled on a pair, honestly I still wasn’t sure though if these would work for me. It’s really hard to tell when you’re inside of the store. But I bought them and then did a few workouts. I ended up not liking them and I was able to bring them back and exchange them with no questions asked. To me, that’s amazing.

I went to this store to get an analysis done for my foot and find a pair of running shoe. Vance here was patient enough to listen to my needs and helped me find a great pair, also suggested what I should look for when buying any shoe in the future.

Vance was fantastic to work with at the legacy location. Came in looking for a running shoe to start my marathon training. He knew specifics about every shoe in the store as well what type of shoe would help in training the most. Most places just 3d scan but they record your run to analyze your stride and impact positions. Will be going back for all my running needs.

Fantastic, personalized shopping experience, and they go above and beyond for their customers. I've been here twice for shoes now, and they help educate you on what kind are best for your feet and gave me helpful tips as I prepped for a marathon. Shari even special ordered me a pair of shoes and hand delivered it to my house with a personalized note.

Did my research on where to buy shoes, and im so glad I picked Dallas Running Company I forgot the guys name but he wears glasses. He was amazing and patient in helping me find a shoe for me. The technology and treadmill was fascinating in helping figure out any foot issues. I definitely will be back!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I visited on a busy Saturday afternoon, and got great service. I had to try on 12 pairs of shoes to find one that was comfortable, due to surgery on one foot. The person helping me did not give up until he found a pair that I could wear comfortably. I highly recommend this store!!

Dallas running company has won me over. I went in today, because of a defect i had with shoes I bought a couple weeks ago. They were expensive shoes…so for them to only last a few weeks was frustrating . I was greeted by Jared. Immediately, he showed complete concern and made it his priority to make sure we left happy and the issue was resolved. I was incredibly impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and patience while I tried on multiple shoes to find the perfect fit for an exchange. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced customer service as great as his! He even manage to have a conversation with us about Pokémon go, because he saw us playing it Lol. In the end , we were able to exchange the shoes with ease. Dallas running company is now my exclusive store to buying all my running shoes. You will be seeing more of me and I will 100% recommend you all to everyone. Keep up the good work! Also please give Jared a raise or bonus

One can easily become indecisive when choosing running shoes based on the thousands of options available. If this is you, I encourage you to visit this store. The store analyzes your walking pattern and your feet to show you which shoes are best for you. Excellent customer service. Great experience. Could not have been more impressed.

I was struggling to find the Saucony Elite in my size in the color I wanted (Mars). I looked EVERYWHERE! The best I could do was a men's pair that didn't feel right on my feet. Even Saucony said they were sold out. I sent a message to Dallas Running Company in Plano and Shari responded that she would see what she could do. Her response came back quickly, she had found a pair (Women's) and would have it at her store in a few days! It was remarkable! I asked her if she could order the shoe in white as well and I would just get two pairs. Fast, Easy, EXCELLENT! I loved it so much that I have since encouraged all the people in my running group to go this route. Really great way to get what you need and never worry about if your size, color, brand is in stock. Thank you, Shari - Ran Tour des Fleurs yesterday in my new shoes and hit a PR! GREATNESS!

As a physical therapist, I am happy with my experience at the Dallas Running Company. I bought my mother some Hoka Bondi 8s recently and my experience with this company has been first class. They took the time to use their machines and recommend 3 options of shoes. They had her wear all three and she was able to narrow down to the Hokas. They did not have the exact color she wanted in store so they ordered for it to be delivered to the house. Less than a week later a very nice lady that represented the Dallas Running Company came by the house with the shoes and even left a hand written letter in the box. The best thing is that the shoes were fair market value. I am thoroughly impressed by the service and will be a repeat customer.

Shops At Legacy, Bishop Road. An A+ must be given to Sherry. Her competence and dogged spirit is the epitome of Customer Service. I will be shopping there again for the sole purpose of repeating the experience.
