School of Rock Plano offers music lessons for kids and adults of all ages, combining private lessons with group rehearsals to teach students how to play together as a band. Students have the opportunity to perform live at real venues in front of audiences, gaining confidence and teamwork skills through the performance-based School of Rock Method. The environment is welcoming and supportive, encouraging everyone to improve, cheer each other on, and enjoy making music together. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, providing additional resources through an online platform to support home practice and learning. Many students, including shy children and beginners, feel excited and motivated after lessons, often eager to participate in live performances. The school also hosts themed music camps and workshops throughout the year, allowing students of all levels to explore specific genres, bands, or musical eras. Whether attending vocal, keyboard, or instrument lessons, students enjoy a fun, happy atmosphere that promotes growth, collaboration, and confidence. Overall, School of Rock Plano is a great place for anyone looking to learn an instrument, develop musical skills, and experience the joy of playing music with others.
Not only has my daughter received great instruction and has progressed in her skills, she also feels cared for and supported by the staff at SOR Plano. We have had a great experience!

Rob and Sam were so helpful and knowledgable. They showed us around as if they had nothing else to do that day. My very shy daughter left her lesson feeling excited and couldn't wait to sign up!
