I shop at this Tom Thumb for convenience, price and the friendly staff. I would specifically like to recognize Julie B. It always puts a smile on my face to see her at the check out position. She is one of the many parts that makes me choose this Tom Thumb over the many other options in the area. Great people, great store. Any company is only as good as its employees...Juile B does a great job making the customers feel valued and appreciated.

The older blonde checking people out on register 2 at 3:17 today, Saturday March 16, 2024 was extremely rude and condescending. She told me I had to take the 3 things out of my carrier basket in order for her to scan the items. I can't emphasize how condescending she was. I refuse to shop in a store that charges more and has terrible customer service.

Definitely don’t get gas here. Overpriced. Drove four minutes down the road and found unleaded gas for $2.87 rather than $3.19!

Great produce a little more expensive but well worth, had issues with staff and they haven't corrected long story and I went up with complaints to district manager NOTHING WAS DONE THIS STORE at(2535 Firewheel Parkway )GARLAND TEXAS 75040ALEX was the manager.FIRST time I spoke with store manager or assistant manager alex ,he told THE employees who I was. He complained about corrective actions he was going to have to take, horrible front-end lady so rude they know the story. Also, they have sales, then purposely put products there not marked correctly, so to fool you! I am going to complain to the state or federal government about it!

Old man working near customer service was super rude. Said “what” and gave us a nasty look when we said excuse me. Would not recommend asking him for help

The two cashiers are very rude and nasty. Julie is by far the worst and has absolutely no respect for customers. Barbara is outstanding and has told me over and over that she too is embarassed at the horrible customer, but they will do nothing about them nor properly train nor discipline them.

horrible service need people that can speak english and Spanish some of the ladies cannot even help you close the lottery and let u wait on line and don't say anything the only one that knows what he is doing is Victor he should be running the place just horrible

I’ve used their grocery pickup service a few times and I’ve had to wait over 15 min multiple times. I’ve checked in on the app so it seems like either their employees aren’t paying attention or the app isn’t working great. Needless to say I will not be using this service anymore since it’s actually been more inconvenient than useful

this was my favorite go to bakery .. not so much anymore.. it has changed , not in a positive direction.. very little Or no cheese or jalapeño on the cheese and jalapeño bagels.. yesterday they were very under baked and looking sad. so disappointing. Last time I grabbed a bad of them and it wasn't what the label said...I used to live near by and always grabbed a few as often as possible. Left the store empty handed..after driving 30 miles one way. Sigh

Used to be my go to store because of service. Last two times at the store the employees seem to be working slow on purpose. Three cuts of deli meet over 15 minutes time. People gave up. Check out. Lady says I need you to bag your groceries. First time ever here when so many employees on duty. She also had one speed and a bit snarky with another employee over scheduling and staffing, who was waiting for customers in her own line while I am bagging my own groceries. Store was not busy at all. I hope to come back and this changes and I hope this is not what we have to look forward to with all these giant mergers with no choices and unhappy employees.
