Hours: Alpha Iron Gym is considered the best gym in town by many, offering a motivating and friendly environment with an old-school field house feel. It is the most equipped gym in Atascosa County, owned and operated by IFBB pros, with a ton of equipment and free weights available. Members report never having to wait, as there are at least three ways to do every exercise. The atmosphere is completely different in a good way, with everyone respecting your workout space. The staff and owners are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and friendly. They take time to walk you through the whole gym without rushing and are willing to stop and talk anytime. Services include small group personal training classes, one-on-one personal training, competition prep, and supplements. The front staff will help with everything you need. The gym is open 24 hours, with member hours from 5am-10pm on weekdays and 7am-7pm on weekends. It is appointment only for consultations, and they encourage you to schedule to find the perfect option for your goals.
