Island Animal Clinic
319 Beach St, Port AransasOur Sadie decided to jump off the golf cart while in motion. Dr David did surgery for her lacerations. Some unexpected issues with her wounds occurred but all was resolved and I would not hesitate bringing her back!
Will be using a seat belt harness in the future.

Coffee Waves Port Aransas
1007 TX-361, Port AransasAlways love stopping by Coffee Waves — it’s always a vibe when you walk in and the coffee is so good!
We got a decaf mocha Big Train with caramel drizzle and a caramel macchiato. The Big Train is definitely for you if you like super sweet drinks. I usually ask for half the scoops to make it less sweet, and that works really well.
For food, we ordered the ham, egg & cheese (can’t remember the exact name) and an everything bagel with strawberry honey cream cheese. Everything was super tasty.
The only thing I’d change is I wish there was a little more cream cheese for the bagel.
Service was pretty basic — not super friendly, not rude — which we were totally fine with. Overall, it’s a spot we enjoy stopping at.

The Phoenix Restaurant & Bar
3500-A Island Moorings Pkwy, Port AransasWow wow wow-- this is the best place ive ever eaten hands down. If you want fresh seafood, prepared right, and you actually want to get what you pay for as opposed to all of the other touristy high priced stuff on the island-- this is absolutely the place to go.
Sat down saw a few families with kids eating, so im not sure what the other reviews are talking about, maybe they just had big parties and no reservations-- ANYWAYS
Best crab cakes ive ever had, best coconut cream pie, and the sushi is amazing as well. This has been the highlight of my beach trip along with my friends-- 10/10 dont miss this. I will definitely be back ?

La Playa MEXICAN GRILLE
222 Beach St #5312, Port AransasWhere do I even begin? If you come to port a - please do your self a favor and stop here. Ask for Angie - she is the absolute best and a gem of a human. We ate so much and my first time ever having Black Drum fish and they cooked it PERFECTLY! We came to port a for my daughters 16th and Angie and La Playa started the weekend off so amazing. It was great food, great atmosphere and honestly who even cares that's it's cash only, it's been like that for 20 years. And I love it. I love that place! We tried to take pictures of our food but ate it too fast
