146 Lamar Drive, Rockport—they need a place where they can truly be themselves. That's exactly what Sandy Oaks Kennels/ Daycare has been for my almost one-year-old Labrador Blue Lacy, Lacey Grace.
Lacey Grace has enough energy to rival a hurricane, and because we live in a 32-foot RV, she doesn't have much room to run and play. I wanted to give her more than four walls. I wanted her to have joy, freedom, friends, and the chance to just be a dog.
Since taking her to SandyOaks Kennels , I've watched her excitement grow every time we pull into the driveway. Her tail starts wagging before we even get out of the car! She gets to run, play with other furry friends, and swim—one of her absolute favorite things. She comes home happy, exhausted, and completely content, and as her mom, there is no greater feeling than knowing she had the best day ever.
Knowing Lacey Grace is in a place where she's loved, cared for, and treated like family gives me such peace of mind. It's obvious the staff genuinely love what they do and truly care about every dog in their care.
If you're looking for a daycare or boarding facility where your dog will be safe, loved, and have the time of their life, I wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you for giving my sweet Lacey Grace a place where she can run, play, swim, and simply be the joyful dog she was meant to be. It means more than words can express.

On top of the extremely professional service, they have your back with any information that can help you pay for the visit as well. 702 West Market Street, RockportWe came from Houston for vacation and had an issue with one of our pups, Willow. We called and were told that they were a walk in clinic and to come as soon as we could. Her symptoms stopped for a bit and we questioned the need to go in, but decided that we'd better because of the upcoming w/e. Both on the phone and at the front desk, the staff were polite. They were extremely busy and told me that within the hour they would be down to only one vet. We started out waiting in our car because our pup was coughing. However, even with the air on full blast we were getting hot. They were kind enough to let us come in and they placed us in a private room. Dr. Miller came in and did a very thorough exam. His assistant, Evan, was great with our pup. Dr. Miller explained the differential diagnoses and what he felt was going on, then explained the recommended treatment. His assistant, Evan, was great as well. He came back into the room after Dr. Miller left and talked with us some more. He explained the meds very well. I'm exceptionally picky, because I'm a health care provider for humans. However, had I been a lay person, I feel that I would have left feeling like I had been educated regarding my pup's situation and comfortable with the treatment instructions. Great experience! I saw someone say something about them being expensive. I felt it was reasonable.

We took our dominoes to play and found a large and fun spirited crowd all ready for dominoes. We weren't aware that it was dominoes night. One of the participants told us it was a $15 buy in and you got 2 drink tickets. What a great deal! We'll be back next time we're in town for sure.

Lunch with miss Britney our server was so great our adult children enjoyed the nacho, sweet and sour chicken, BLT, every thing home made, no frozen stuff. Patio is great being that we travel with our dogs, Love this place and I see why they have all the regular customer, cause we will be back every trip here. Thanks to the owners and cooks too.

Bellino's Italian Restaurant Rockport
523 Fulton Beach Road, RockportMy girlfriend and I came for some authentic Italian cuisine. I had lived in Italy for several years and I have to admit this was absolutely delicious. The wine and the food are top notch. The setting is small and cozy. The waiters were amazing. Our waiter, Kaleb (probably spelled it incorrectly) was knowledge and his suggestions were spot on. The wine choices are perfect matches for the cuisine served with the delicious food. Sicilian has some spice that is notable but never overwhelming. Bellino's has that down pat. The food and the atmosphere are first rate Sicilian. I couldn't have asked for a better setting that Bellino's . A must if you want to live the Dolce Vita!
