319 Beach St, Port AransasWhile visiting Port A it started raining very heavy and our Australian shepherd slid off the golf cart and got hurt. We managed to find this place with a strangers help and they were about to close. We were so very grateful they were kind enough to stay open for us and take their time. Dr David was very honest and kind. Our baby was in great hands and came out very well despite some road rash, she was running around in no time. This review is overdue as I tried to submit it over a month or 2 ago and it didn’t go through. Great little place to take your fur babies.

This one makes you slow down from the good quality of food that makes you relax, to the friendly and knowledgeable staff I can not put into words how much of a good experience is. 10 out of 10. Pete was our waiter and his knowledge of the dishes and drink pairings is incredible. He helped make our experience a top tier one. We came here on our honeymoon and it rivals fine dining restaurants in major cities. If you are in Port A, this is a must stop. It is elevated, but still casual. In that you can dress up but you don’t have to. The food speaks for itself so you don’t have to!

Island Bakery
200 W Avenue G, Port AransasWe returned home to Illinois. I miss the extraordinary treats I was enjoying from the Island bakery. I froze sourdough bread to bring home. My favorite are the croissants. The best I've ever had! We thought the creme brulee and coconut cream pie were delicious! Another thing to look forward to when we return to Port Aransas next January!

When we visited, it wasn’t crowded at all, which made for a really relaxed experience. The menu had a good variety, and the bar menu especially had a great selection.
Prices were a bit higher than typical, but the food was decent and the service was great, which made up for it.
Overall, a good, easy stop when you’re in Port A and want something convenient and close to the beach!

3500-A Island Moorings Pkwy, Port AransasMy fish was fabulous, melt in your mouth tender. Veggies were wonderful enough that I'd be tempted to become vegetarian, except for the fish. The chocolate torte was not as good, very dry. My husband's tuna was also excellent as was his carrot cake.
Our waiter was very attentive without being intrusive.

222 Beach St #5312, Port AransasWhere do I even begin? If you come to port a - please do your self a favor and stop here. Ask for Angie - she is the absolute best and a gem of a human. We ate so much and my first time ever having Black Drum fish and they cooked it PERFECTLY! We came to port a for my daughters 16th and Angie and La Playa started the weekend off so amazing. It was great food, great atmosphere and honestly who even cares that's it's cash only, it's been like that for 20 years. And I love it. I love that place! We tried to take pictures of our food but ate it too fast
