I had a very disappointing experience at the Port Arthur Office Depot printing center. I came into the store urgently needing to print important documents for court, and not only was I refused assistance, but the staff showed no empathy or willingness to help in a timely manner.
I was directed to use the self-service print station without any real guidance. When I asked for help, I was told I would have to wait 45 minutes for assistance — even though I was the only person in line at the time and clearly explained that I needed to be in court in 20 minutes. There were no other customers waiting, and the store was not busy, yet I was still dismissed.
When I asked to speak with the manager, he backed up the employee and told me they had to take care of customer orders that had come in before mine — completely disregarding the urgency of my situation. There was absolutely no sympathy, no sense of urgency, and no effort to make the situation right.
This experience showed a complete lack of customer service and basic human decency. I understand there are policies, but when someone is clearly in a bind and needs help, there should be some flexibility or at least compassion. Unfortunately, this store showed neither.

Went in for a quick lamination of 1 page. (As I do frequently) This time I had to fill out an entire computer screen of all my information. I asked if I could leave any fields blank and the clerk told me she wouldn’t do the job unless all fields were completed. I then saw a sign that says they will no longer do things while you wait. You will be contacted when your job is completed. The clerk then told me the same thing… but to her credit she laminated my page (no other customers waiting). We discussed their new policies and she agreed with my dissatisfaction and said many customers complain. I told her we have other options and she needed to let corporate know the customers aren’t happy. After I left I tried to find an email for corporate to remove my name, address and contact information from their system. I couldn’t find one. I guess I will snail mail corporate……

Came here for a FedEx shipment. The line was very busy and whole there were other employees working, no one would help the one person handling the line.

Sold me the wrong boxes insisting that their brown ones were in fact flat rate boxes and that I'd just need them to print flat rate labels before 6pm the next day. Went in to ship things off the next day at 3pm, three hours before their print center was supposed to close, only to be told they didn't have anyone who could print for me on shift. The lady told me to go to the Walmart next door and they'd be able to ship my packages that day. That Fedex was in fact not even open on weekends.

Came in to print some 11x17 drawings and after waiting in line for a long while I finally got to the counter the guy helping me was trying to print the files one at a time and after about 20 minutes I told home him to give it up and I went to the self serve copier. The self serve machine would only allow me to do one PDF at a time which would have taken me hours at the speed the unit was working. I've never had a problem printing stuff at any other Office Depot so I think there is just a lack of training here, or a lack of maintenance on the equipment. Y'all need to do better, or set up a lounge so we can take a nap while we're waiting. You need to do better.

Printed and laminated a project nicely and quickly. However, I had to stand in a long line to pick it up while a young female clerk walked around aimlessly for at least ten minutes before she decided to acknowledge me and provide service. She needs to focus on customers and serving them as quickly as possible. I won’t be back!

OFFICE DEPO…do better!!! If I had the ability to give “0” stars I would do it. The individual at the register (dark hair, ponytail female) could not have been any more rude. And, as miraculously as it sounds, my next stop was Mid-County Farm & Feed, where EACH and EVERY employee had a smile on their face and was eager to help anyone that walked in the store.

Recent changes in management have made the Port Arthur location an absolutely wonderful place to shop! Clean, neat and well stocked AND the employees all appear to like their jobs and their customers!

I've never had issues here before but.... Called on Sunday to arrange a print job for Monday morning only to drive-in and find out that the print shop is closed and will not open until tomorrow.

I had a very poor customer service experience going into the port Arthur store to purchase a turbo tax CD for 2023 taxes. My main issue the waitress at I-Hop probably knew as much as their associates did and probably that same waitress could have come and checked me out quicker than the other associate at OFFICE DEPOT. BAD BAD BAD

15 min till closing I needed a printer for work. Knew exact 1 would've been done the 2 women just look at me like I'm stupid and then I call and no answer

I ask a worker if she could help me print something off the customer service desk since there is people in the self serve section looking at the printer like it's alien technology and I'm in a rush. She says "Sir as you can see there is a line in front of you so if you could wait, then I could help you okay? So go and wait in line." Rudely tells me to continue waiting even when she obviously doesn't know how to work a printer either. I do not have time to wait for her to figure out how to do her job so I left. Always a problem with this store.

Horrible service been doing business almost two years just get copies printed and cut. Order a copy and cut of 500 after that finding a different company to process my orders. Done and gone.
