I will not go back in the harbor freight in Porter tx them made me feel like I was a thief and that wrong I spent alot of money at that store so they want get it any more I will drive to a other Town and buy what I need I could understand if I gave them a reason but my son and I was on there got to do better

Normally, it's not bad, but I wanted a 3/8s impact, battery operated. Every battery-powered item had the battery and charger in the tool except the impact. The charger and battery are separate, like gotta pay for the charger, then gotta pay for battery, then gotta pay for the tool.

Most of the time u get what u pay for at fair price & for things u need right now without paying through the nose they normal can help u find the tool yet for real good long lasting tooling its not snap-on yet if u really pay attention there are so real good things to find there that are ever bit as good a home depot or Lowes products.

Great store. Huge variety of tools and good quality. Whatever tool you need, you find it at Harbor freight. Staff is friendly and helpful. They've always coupon and special offers. Harbor freight is the store to go for all your needs on tools, small or big. ?

WOW! The supervisor is an older lady. Precious and so helpful. Everyone in the store was helpful. It was beautful and organized. And you can walk, like ya use to could back in 2000s, through the whole store. No squeezing through bs cause they too cheap to pay people to stock their store during closed hours. I'll never return to those other major box stores if I can help it. The only aisle you could not walk down was because it was packed full of men shopping! As it should be! Please keep to this and I will default to your store forever! Shop here!

No staff on the floor to help. I asked where there generator batteries were and got a general blanketed answer of “uhhh they’re usually on the floor over by the generators”.Asked the manager as she was passing- because I couldn’t find one- I got huffed at, eyes rolled at me, an attitude with “they’re over there on the floor!” With fingers pointed to a general area underneath one side of generators. She then proceeded to make fun of me at the register to an employee, in FRONT of me and several other customers. I was so embarrassed.This manager was probably in her 50s, with short red hair.The behavior and 10 seconds of an interaction makes me never want to return because I asked for help finding an item. There was absolutely no warrant in the unprofessional behavior and childish attitude.Wish I could rate zero stars.

I’ve been to over 20 countries and lived all over the Houston area and never had I put a review in for a retail store that I remember. This is by far one of the best stores I ever been to. Best rates that outpace big box stores. Also, quality components. Time after time getting the best reviews for their products. Makes me wonder if Big box stores are raising prices out of pure greed and not inflation.

Bought a 3200 predator gas pressure washer and the wand came defective. Leaking on the tip from the bearing. Called and seen what could be done and was told I had to buy one separately from ANOTHER store just to see if that was my issue or I could bring it back after siphoning the gas and draining the oil just to replace a simple defective part, fresh out the box. Not really pleased.

It seems that people we've talked to over the years either love Harbor Freight or hate it. This was our first trip to the Porter Harbor Freight, or any for that matter (2023). Another local hardware store didn't have a few things we needed for a project, but a quick internet search showed that Harbor Freight happened to have the items we needed. It took a while to locate our items due to the massive inventory and abundant range of items. There were employees around but they were busy helping other customers find products. We seen a lot of good deals on cheap tools, storage, and lighting products. We will have to keep this place in mind for future projects. The employees we came in contact with were very friendly.

*Walks inside the store and inhales deeply* ahhhhhh nothing like the smell of the Chinese Embassy filling your nostrils.This is THE spot for disposable and semi disposable tools. Some stuff is fantastic, other stuff is haphazardous. Just need to know what you need from it and conduct yourself appropriately. If Aliexpress was a real store this would be its retail location.

I've been coming here for decades it seems usually very dependable and always convenient, despite the risky often sketchy characters that are about. This trip along with my last few visits have been less than good. Machines down, payment scanner not functioning and never printing a receipt for the purchase but this takes the cake. The vehicle came out looking as bad as it did when I entered. Not going back, there are other options that are just as convenient and will do a far better wash and they have free vacuums.Goodbye
