“Our company leases several Penske vans and panel trucks long term. The only reason I'm giving Penske 5 stars is because Emmett Sanchez went above and beyond to help me out. I ran out of gas about 1/4 mile from Penske. I walked to Penske and asked for help. No one would so I started walking back to my van in 100 degree heat and called my company. But then Emmett drove up and said he wouldn't want to be stuck out in the heat and gave me a ride to Walmart so I could buy a gas can and gas. I'll never forget his kindness. He didn't have to help, but did. He is an asset to his company and an all around nice person.”

“Cleanliness. The interior was not clean, the passenger seat was full of dog hair and there were cookie scraps around the driver seat. It took a good while to remove the dog hair with tape. Also the exterior of the van was not washed, the windshield was dirty and was told that the units are not washed upon return and that it is up to the renter to wash the unit if they desire to do so. Very disappointed. Also after having loaded the van and ready for our trip, I received a phone call from U-haul, inquiring if I could return the van and exchange it for another unit because this van had been reported stolen. I mentioned that van was completely loaded for the trip and that it would be too much trouble to unload and load up again plus delay our travel schedule.I was told that it would be OK to use the van and that U-haul would take care of the situation.I inquired about if I were to be stopped for this reason on the road by a trooper and was told to just explain the situation and provide them with the rental agreement. Upon return, I inquired about the theft and was told that there had been a mistake and that the stolen van was not our rental. We were never informed about the mistake during the rental time and this was on our minds during the entire trip. No communication. Again, very disappointed.”

“I love the 24/7 convenience of the application. I did run into some problems with obtaining the key which was able to be resolved by a phone representative. I initially booked my reservation for 6am but didn't arrive until 6:30 I had a bit of trouble finding the truck and I passed the windows where the on location agent was already there but since I knew it wasn't time to open i didn't bother her and she didn't look like a morning person. I ultimately found it at the same time the agent came out and not very friendly asked if i needed anything but in a what are you doing here not in a how can I help you tone. I said that I had it and she left.I noticed it
was very tightly parked next to another truck. I was able to reverse it. The night before might want to pull up any upcoming reservations and have them parked in front to make it more convenient for us. The return was a breeze and the employee cleaning the vehicle was very nice and friendly.”
