“The staff that has been there for a few years are extremely nice and friendly. Part of the reason I stop there is because of them. There is a newer guy working and isn't as friendly. He claimed if coins are not rolled he will not take them. Seem stupid because I bought a pack of cigarettes at 7.40$ in quarters because I ran out the house without grabbing my wallet. Thankfully one of the staff members who knows I've been stopping there for years took my 8$ in quarters without an issue. Seems the newer/younger employee has a bit to learn from the seasoned vets there.”

“I always liked visiting loves I like to neat new novelty items they have they are very nicely priced and have a variety of snacks and drinks. even though it's a truck stop, it is always nice to go in to a clean restroom while on the road.”
“Verry helpfull during our winter freeze verry warm they feed us 3 times a day n plenty of snack n lot of water to drink. Had good bathing. N restroom facilities very good place to stay whenever I need a good shelter”

“The cleanest best Stripes location in Weslaco....and some do really well in the cleanliness. (They should get a taco (LTC) place too.) Its always clean, smells good, NEVER expired products on the shelves (too many Stripes locations have expired items on their shelves in Weslaco and McAllen too) clearly a POSITIVE change in management and all the cashiers especially the two that work at night are very helpful....instead of gossiping & blatantly lying Adrian, alleged store manager, resident gossip, from the SOUTH TEXAS location should take note, ask what this store leader is doing cuz his location smells, dirtyz out of hand soap ALWAYS, dirty parking lot/gas pumps and expired products for days. I hope this Stripes location and its NEW leadership keeps striving for perfection because I made sure to let their DISTRICT MANAGER know how GREAT they're doing.”
