“When you live in the "kountry,," having a great Dollar General is pretty essential. Any of our city slicker friends that we take there are always a bit surprised at how well stocked it is with both food selections and other items. A great place for to run grab something quickly when we don't want to go all the way to Alberston's in Azle. Clean location and friendly staff. Thanks!”
“I love the cleanliness and neatness of this store, unlike the General Dollar near by which has things hanging off the shelves. I love shopping the nick nacks and it's a great store for items needed in-between big shopping trips. Large selection. They also have great seasonal items.”

“I really enjoyed my visit to this store. From the gentleman whom I assume was the manager, to the cashier and an elderly gentleman who apologized he couldn't open the door the door for me due to a n issue he was having. A true gentleman who wanted to show respect. I was greatly touched. This gem is located not far from my home and they have products we enjoy that interestingly enough cannot be found in big box stores. Thank you. I will return.”
“WOW!! This was my second visit to the Azle location. Both times, I was greeted with a smile. The shelves are well stocked, clean and organized. I expected this Dollar General Store to be like all the others. I just started working in the Azle area. I’ve shared my experience with several people. The customer service is exceptional. Very Clean, Organized and you can walk down the isle. You can tell “The employees care about their store!” I was beyond impressed! I complimented the Employee for her exceptional customer service. Please, let your employees know their hard work didn’t go unnoticed! You have very caring employees! They are friendly, go above and beyond to help you find what you need. “I live in Briar 6 miles from store and have another one much closer, 2 miles, but go to this one, most of the time, because it has produce bananas, apples, cucumbers, packaged baby carrots, tangerines, etc. and the store is generally clean and stocked for the most part. Parking lot is well marked not like the one close to my house on FM 730 they’re in Briar but *both stores are clean and have nice helpful employees*. You can get a bigger selection at Albertson’s in Azel but the DG typically has everything I need to sustain me in life and I recommend you go to either one of these locations. Handicap parking spaces and access, buggies and baskets. They have a pretty big selection of cosmetics, an aisle dedicated to Auto, paper towels, TP. ect..
They just about have a little bit of everything and at a discounted price compared to Albertsons, which has a much larger overhead and is a great grocery store to go to, but to drive 8 miles in and pay a little more or drive 2 miles or 6 miles and pay less I choose less which is my choice. I recommend going to the store and hope this helps.”
