store # 1982 regarding light engine turning on and off . The day before out of Anti- freeze empty replaced it. I wanted know do vertiscan warning light testing but at time the engine light was not on. I spoke to Noe Assistant Manager very observant hear my concerns of my issues of alert warning light engine w/ road signal light. Noe asked if I like him look under hood see all fluids full. I could not pass offer very professional. Then Noa did Free electoral testing asked Alternator where I got it I said it’s original came with my vehicle I asked why he said it’s 15 most time they are 14. Well I felt at ease to know that Noe was looking out for best and quality service. Then he noticed battery was not fitted and cleaned it with bristled brush had a lot of dryed up white residue. Wow I was beyond satisfied that Noe went beyond . Well as I departed leave he Noe reassured me if check engine light comes on come by be able to do Veri scan free warning light testing. “Eh. Car battery tested “good”, but I knew something was wrong. The lady had to grab another guy to see if they could even change it, props for helping… and would have been
5 stars except for the attempted upsale on wiper blades that “looked old” despite me knowing they were actually the only new thing I’d literally just had put on with the recent oil change. Faded quickly in the sun? Hardly. But for a chick, yeah… I may not “know” cars… but I do know retail tricks. :) Would have been easier to sell me on something else (like my car battery?) haha

Tip for employees: don’t be too robotic on recommendations, thanks for helping with the battery. Even though your machine said it was fine… it wasn’t. It had been running for an hour, and it was 7 years old. Believe it or not… 7 years indeed. Had I not changed it and pressed to install, I’d have been stranded soon. That said, my new O’Reilly battery doesn’t have issues & the car starts great (once more!). Turns out, old batteries can cause a host of electrical problems for the radio, locks, you name it.”
