We have done homeschool classes, swim, gymnastics and dance. We love that our kids can try a ton of different classes under 1 roof.

Ymca is a joke! Their staff does not watch your kids like you think! They left my 4 year old son unattended by the exit and he pulled the fire alarm (not being malicious) he has no clue what a fire alarm is, my son was able to escape from the playground, and due to him doing normal things that a 4yr old does they kicked him out of the program. Please rethink about using the after school program. Especially if you’re a single mother. They will drop your kid and have you stranded without childcare. Staff is complacent. They’re a joke honestly. Do better ymca . They definitely don’t follow the motto they claim to have.(had to come back and edit to add: my son has been in his new after school program for a couple months now and no issues whatsoever!! Safe to say the reason he was doing things is due to the staff not being properly trained and not watching your kids like they should and also having them mixed in with older kids) having a 4yr old playing with 7,8,9,10 yr olds isn’t a good idea. After this experience and how rude they were about the situation I will never put my kid in ymca again!

This place is amazing. Huge property with a gym, swimming and all sorts of classes for kids ranging from cooking and pottery to gaming, engineering and CAD. If you are in the area I would highly recommend checking it out. It's a very convenient location from 35 and from Mays.

There are lots of great programs for kids. You do not need to have a membership for your kids to take the extracurricular classes nor to have birthday parties.

I’ve been growing up with video games since I was a kid.. it’s a nostalgic place for me and when I started helping run an esports program it’s safe to say I put a lot of heart into it. I was invested. I had videos of my class on the tvs, (I used to run the smash bros class) This Ymca is A poorly ran business, esports director with no drive to do anything, I was treated unfairly because I was seen as a threat to his position. No write up. Just thrown out of a program I helped support from day one yet I did nothing to deserve it while watching co-workers not show up for shifts and be 30min late. I went out of my way to buy gifts because I connected with the kids so deeply. I coudnt vocalize anything. I’m beyond hurt and feel like Ymca is run off personal greed. Everyone that’s a director is “buddy buddy” so the only way up the chain is to join them. I’ve heard “Sean” esports director. Vocalize nepotism to me, saying that he’s tired of the job and just wanted friends, seeing people that deserve the job not make the cut or even get brought up as an option, I have 4 years management experience. So watching this was upsetting. As I was busting my butt, putting in my all to get in his position. Anyone who’s friends or close to the director gets extra hours. As I was getting 30+ when I started the job and the moment I stopped hanging out with him out of work. My hours dropped to about 7.I’ve seen coaches that deserve to be running things, be completely dropped with hours without any vocalizing. I’m heart broke and will let this be known to people

Hands down exceeded expectations. This is one of the best YMCAs I have ever seen. The Child Watch program and their other childcare/enrichment programs are amazing. The staff is incredibly caring. One of the best welcoming groups in our move to TX.

During the summer, my children had the opportunity to participate in the half-day camps at the YMCA, and their experience there has truly been the highlight of their summer. Without a doubt, the YMCA has become their favorite destination. Despite facing staffing challenges, the YMCA has remarkably excelled in maintaining the quality of their programs and services. Every staff member we encountered has consistently exhibited a helpful, kind, and pleasant demeanor, contributing to the positive atmosphere. One aspect we particularly enjoyed was the frequent use of the indoor pool throughout the scorching Texas summer. The pool's shelter from the intense heat was a welcome relief. A useful tip I'd like to share is the value of downloading the YMCA app. While some individuals have mentioned concerns about the YMCA's communication regarding pool closures, my personal experience has been quite the opposite. Thanks to the app, I've remained informed about any pool closures, as well as updates on heat-related cancellations of sporting events and other vital information. The YMCA boasts an extensive array of programs, and I'm especially thrilled that they've recently introduced pickleball to their offerings. In terms of affordability, the YMCA stands as an accessible option for both adult and children's recreation. A commendable aspect is their commitment to financial inclusivity, offering assistance on a sliding scale to those who might be facing financial constraints. This considerate approach opens doors for individuals and families in need, reflecting a deep understanding of the challenges many of us encounter at times. It's also worth noting that the YMCA provides childcare services, allowing parents to entrust their children to capable hands while focusing on their own workouts. In sum, I am impressed with the Chasco YMCA and its comprehensive offerings. The YMCA has proven itself to be an exceptional choice for children's and adults' recreational pursuits. Their dedication to both quality and inclusivity is highly commendable. I'm genuinely excited about the experience my children had and the positive impact it has made on our summer. The Chasco YMCA has earned my highest recommendation.

Me and my black family were kicked out the gym VERY rudely by staff which was very embarrassing, so I gave my white best friend a call and I had him do the same with his family that my family did and guess what guys nothing happened to them they weren't kicked out nor stalk or got yelled by staff. SO TO ALL MY BLACK PEOPLE BE AWARE THAT RACISM STILL EXISTS THERE. (MY black son didn't touch or use there Equipment and still got kicked out BUT my white nephew that is 5 years old(same age as my son) touched the weights and use equipment and didn't get kicked out.) ITS 2023 GUYS Racism shouldn't exist!!!!!!
