“I cannot recommend Flophouze enough. I stayed here for a romantic getaway during the big January freeze and actually had a blast. Not only was the location of the hotel great, we also lucked out with the wonderfully heated pool, from which we could watch the cows (awesome), and a sauna which had recently been added to the amenities!”

“I wish i could leave a 10-star review! My wife and I visited over the July 4th weekend, and could not have asked for a better experience. We stayed (along with another couple) at the Star House, which was absolutely perfect for us. From the setting, to the decor, to the amenities, to the views, to the firepit, to the longhorn cattle, to the BISCUITS...everything was perfect. I want to give a special shout-out to Kelley, who handled a very special request I had for my wife's 45th birthday - she went FAR beyond the scope of her everyday duties, and I am so appreciative. She's an absolute gem. We've been to Round Top a couple times, and we will certainly return -- but we won't ever stay anywhere but the Wander Inn. Thank y'all for a memorable holiday weekend, and we will definitely be seeing you soon.”

“Loved this place.. the linens and duvet's were fab superComfortable. The containers are actually pretty spacious . We had 2 adults and 2 kids in number VI (double bed plus bunk bed) - (I think using the sofa bed wouldHave made the place seem very small)We travelled with 2 kids (age 5 and 8 ) weAll Had a FAB time. Highlights were the Pool, cooking s'mores at the fire pit, watching the cows In the evening and seeing the stars at night (big and bright!). We also loved exploring the 'Junk' around the yard... would love to come back!!”
“Perfect relaxing weekend getaway! A small trip from Houston/Austin, the Frenchie was the perfect place to unwind. Low stimulation, excellent service, beautiful ambiance. We spent hours in the hot tub and dipped in the pool. Enjoyed the convenient food service anywhere in the hotel as it was only a text away or use the community kitchen for takeout. Plus there were no kids during our stay (more for friends/couples than family hotel) so absolutely loved that. Definitely will be back when we need a break.”

“10/10. Great, quiet spot just outside of the town at a more-than-affordable rate. The premise of my stay was that I really just needed a spot to park/shower/sleep (given much of the trip was elsewhere) and it was perfect for that. Had I needed to spend more time at the hotel, or accommodate more people/family, they had those options as well and I wouldn't mind doing so one bit if needed in the future. Nice little common areas outside the room for hanging out, and the rooms have all the appliances one would need (fridge/etc.). The support staff was super quick to inform me of the reservation details/procedure and I was in/out! Thanks again.”
