Christians in Action is the largest thrift store in Texas, serving the Concho Valley since 1982. Their mission is to be a reflection of Christ in an outreach ministry, aiding those in financial, physical, and spiritual need through donations. Customers are consistently impressed by the store's wonderful selection and affordable prices. The staff is efficient and even willing to negotiate. Many have found treasures, like a $1 paper towel holder that costs $20 at Walmart, as well as quality clothing, purses, and furniture. Donating to the store is also a popular practice. However, one reviewer experienced poor customer service when their jewelry selection went missing after being allowed to browse additional merchandise. The cashier did not handle the situation well, refusing to take responsibility or assist in locating the items. Overall, Christians in Action is praised for its vast array of second-hand items, helpful and welcoming staff, and discounts that support a good cause. Customers enjoy the ability to furnish their homes and lives with unique, budget-friendly finds.
