“If you’re looking for a gym that isn’t constantly crowded and has a welcoming vibe, this is the place to go! I’ve been a member of The Bar for over a year, and I’ve really enjoyed it. The owner is absolutely amazing and personable, it has all the equipment a lifter could ever need or want, and it’s family friendly. Not to mention there is always an amazing stock of supplements and apparel. I highly recommend it to anyone searching for a gym in San Angelo!”

“Diamond Steel is honestly one of the best CrossFit boxes I’ve experienced after being stationed in the UK, Korea, and Arkansas. The programming is amazing, the community is welcoming, and the coaching is top tier.

One thing that really stands out is how great the coaches are, especially when it comes to explaining gymnastics and Olympic lifting movements. They take the time to break things down properly, help with technique, and make sure athletes feel confident and safe while improving.. As a military family that moves often, finding a box that truly feels like home is rare, and Diamond Steel became exactly that for us. Highly recommend.”

“As a longtime member, it would be impossible for me to describe how much I love San Angelo Strength and Conditioning. Coach Aubrey has been an integral, passionate, and amazing part of my life for nearly a decade. I first met her in 2015 when I was ten years old. Our parents were constantly on the lookout for family-oriented gym locations that could help us become better athletes. It was not long before we finally discovered Aubrey. We loved that she enforced science-backed training and discipline in a way that was friendly and supportive. Her natural enthusiasm and encouragement made her seem like a friend and a coach. Today, I am able to train my body comfortably and make invaluable fitness progress despite having faced multiple hamstring injuries during high school. All in all, I cannot recommend San Angelo Strength and Conditioning enough and I am so proud to have Aubrey as my coach.”

“When my family arrived to San Angelo we didn’t know anyone, we became members at the YMCA to get our kids involved. In the few months we have been here my kids have taken swim lessons with Mr. Austin and spent some time in the e-sports room with Mr. Jeremy. Both have been so good with my children, they are so patient with them and have helped them learn so much. Neither of my kids had spent any amount of time in the water before we anrrived and now they can make it across the pool with relative ease. My fears with them in the water have subsided. I’m so grateful for the decision to come here and get involved the way that we have.”
