“Coming through Texas wound up in san angelo. Hands down! The River League is where you want to be. Reece runs a good/safe room. Also if you play the action is there.”

“Great location with plenty of food options nearby. Friendly staff. I stayed in a king suite for 4 nights for business. I travel often for work and this is the third hotel I have stayed at in San Angelo.Upon entering the room after check in, it was extremely hot and had a very strong cigarette smoke smell. The heater was set to 75 which I think made the smoke smell worse. The room was pretty clean, dishes were stored, but cups didn’t look fully clean. Whatever is used to mop the floor left a white residue that was very apparent. The A/C seems like it will have trouble to cool the room during the warmer months has I had it set between 60-64 to feel comfortable.Everyday I left for work, I left the window partially opened and the bathroom vent on to try to dissipate the smoke smell. The smoke smell seemed to be less everyday, or I was just getting use to it. This smell was the worst thing about this room. The room is labeled as non smoking so either the guest before me was a heavy smoker or someone did in fact smoke in the room previously. The room seems a little dated and had a few cosmetic issues, for example the bathroom door handle backing was loose and the smoke detectors were a very worn and faded yellow.Overall, I would stay here again as this hotel has been better than the other two I have previously stayed in.”

“My family of 5 had a lovely stay over the Thanksgiving holiday! The staff were so pleasant and helpful. The hot water went out in our room, but maintenance was quick to fix it. We had hot water again within 30 minutes! We also had a hairdryer that wouldn’t get hot and they replaced it with a brand new, in the box, one. Breakfast was delicious, my kids loved the Texas shaped waffles! Overall, we had a great experience. Would stay there again!”

“It is nice to go and see part of San Angelo history. It was one of the busy hotel back back in the 20s, 30s, 40s. In it's was richly rich in it's hay day. There are business, cafe, apartments, jewelry store”

“Kudos to management. They really helped us out in a hard time. Price was fair, service was great and room was clean and well furnished. Cons: ice machine didn’t work and watch out for the restaurant they use for the vouchers. The restaurant, Roxie’s, ripped us off for 18$ on a free breakfast because I added a coffee, extra slice of bacon and change the single piece of toast to a single biscuit. And I was only allowed 1 refill on coffee. The hotel management defended us and I gave the refund to the waitress who deserved it. But the restaurant is not affiliated to the hotel. So don’t let that discourage you from staying at this hotel. I slept well and got a late check out and the staff were great!”

“We always stay here in San Angelo and it’s always a great stay. The only quirk is having enough towels in the room for 4 people. Other than that this is an affordable, quiet location.”

“The staff were so helpful! The young woman at the front desk went above and beyond for us when there was an issue with the room and we were so thankful. We don't see that kind of customer care often!”
