“I worked at Angelo Running Company since they opened their doors in June 2021. The owner, Joe Cook, is one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He runs a very admirable business that he is super passionate about. The store caters to the wants and needs of runners based on carefully selected brands that many runners love. The store is constantly growing and evolving with industry trends in the running world. Working at this store felt more like a privileged hobby than a job. The current manager Colton is my good friend and running coach. Pictured is a photo of him, myself and World-Class American Runner Molly Seidel. We had the opportunity to meet her at a retailer exclusive event in Austin that the owner invited us to attend. Angelo Running Company got me back to the sport of running and I will forever be grateful for the lifelong friends I met. I can't say enough good things about this business and the wonderful people that work there. I have since moved to a different city to pursue my career, but if Joe ever decides to expand locations, I will always be willing to work for him again!Run on, Runbirds!”
“Went in to find some slides for my neurodivergent son, and I knew it was gonna be rough because they had to be just so… Mazon, the young gentleman that helped us, was the most patient and helpful young man I have met in a long time. Long story short, he made our visit so enjoyable and easy! And we got my boy new Jordan slides. Thank you Mazon! I hope your employer recognizes you!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“With deadline looming in 4 days, I nervously called on the “TEAM” to print only eleven little guy T’s. (No minimum order!!) They accepted the job, even with such short notice. Within minutes they emailed a suggested product. Now, a couple of hours later, they have texted that the shirts are ready! It’s almost unbelievable! Thank you TEAM SPIRIT!!? ? ”
“I really love Academy, but the shoe section meeds major help! I bought a pair of shoes about a month ago here for my son, and we spent about 45 minutes rifling through boxes until we found his size. Today we came in to buy a pair of shoes for our other kid and had a very similar experience. The employees seem to try to rectify the situation by just telling us to order the shoes online. Please help!….update!! shoe section much improved!!!”
