Apartments
The Iris offers spacious studio, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments in San Antonio, designed to enhance Texas living with comfortable floor plans and convenient amenities. The community has seen some improvements, but residents still note areas needing attention, such as cleaning, maintenance, and repairs. A few tenants experienced delays in move-in dates and issues with apartment readiness, including dirty floors, incomplete repairs, and malfunctioning appliances like the A/C and stove. Several fixtures, such as bathroom handles, cabinet doors, and a crack in the ceiling, were found to be damaged or incomplete upon move-in. Maintenance responses have been slow, with some requests taking months to address, although the maintenance team, especially staff members like Ruben and Alex, are highly appreciated for their quick and helpful service. The front office staff, particularly May, is praised for her professionalism and customer service skills. However, residents feel that more effort is needed to improve cleanliness, fix the laundry room, and ensure timely repairs. Despite some challenges, the community remains a place with potential, especially with ongoing improvements and dedicated staff. Overall, The Iris offers a good living environment with spacious apartments, but there is room for growth in maintenance, cleanliness, and communication to fully meet residents' expectations.
