I booked here for a conference and cannot believe how incredibly rude the front desk was and the manager was non-existent. The front desk girl Jenifer told me the manager did not have time to speak to me. Which is absurd. The manager wouldn't even respond when customer service called on my behalf. We moved to another hotel.

The main complaint I have is that the management should be ashamed that they raise the prices of rooms from 80 to 120 per night before basic training events. Although i will say it was in the perfect location and only 10 minutes from base. We came from Alabama to see our son graduate from Lackland AFB. There was hot breakfast served with more options than only cereal. The lobby area was really big with a clean bar area for some rest, drinks, and down time. The room was clean and the night time staff was very accommodating. When we arrived the elevator was broken and the receptionist immediately offered another room on the 1st floor. She was great!Nearby activities: Downtown San Antonio.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We would recommend this place for any military families coming for their child's graduation from BMT or to visit them while they are in tech school. It was close to the base, and a good location to restaurants and stores. The staff was very helpful with information about when and where we needed to be for the graduation events. They helped make our trip a great experience!

Comfortable bed. Very close to Lackland AFB for the BMT graduation ceremonies. Breakfast was decent. We got the suit so that we had room for the family to sit and chat and relax after the ceremonies. The fan in the bathroom didn't work the entire week we were there, so it would steam up quickly from showering, plus very awkward set up in the shower ... water splashing out onto the floor and toilet. There is only one tiny shelf that barely holds one travel size bottle, so I had to set them on the floor. I have stability issues, so having to bend down to reach any toiletries was difficult! The view was great from our 2nd floor room...beautiful sunsets every evening! If you want to fill water bottles you have to go to the lobby near the pool and ice IS NOT available on every floor. They were painting the outside of the building during the entire week, so maybe they will be doing some upgrades to the interior soon too. The receptionists were all very helpful and friendly for all our questions and needs. If you don't want to drive too far in the morning to get to the graduation ceremonies, I recommend this place. It's quiet and very convenient to the AFB and I-410. There is a pizza place (Marcos) and a convenient store and gas station just down the road. There also is a little park with a basketball court nearby.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was incredibly convenient, and the breakfast was hands down the best - warm, generous portions, a wide variety of drinks, and a clean dining area. The staff was nice, though the rooms were just okay. The sheets seemed well-used but were clean. Kudos for providing ample bathroom toiletries; it’s a rare find. Despite the broken elevator on the 4th floor, I’d return, mainly because the breakfast was exceptional.

My room was fine. Decent condition but I wouldn't say equal to other offerings in the near same price range. My television had a partially out display but did function. The room was a bit stuffy so required air freshener so it was manageable. Water pressure was a little light but not bad.The bar was a plus but really should consider basic bar food since there's no restaurant or store within walking distance. Breakfast was as good as higher priced hotels but the pancake machine was broken. Location can't be beat for easy/quick access to Lackland.I'd argue that it's the best located hotel for best access to base, outside of staying on base. Just know that you'll have to drive for any food/snacks. Only about 5 minutes but will require driving down the access road & making the drive back around to get back to the hotel.Nearby activities: As close as it gets to Lackland (Valley High Gate)Walkability: Walkability is low. There's really nothing in walking distance.Food & drinks: Limited option on drinks at the bar but enough to satisfy most. Besides a pretty good breakfast, no other meal options unfortunately.Noteworthy details: Indoor pool which is nice for those interested.

Hotel rooms have the LOWEST toilets I have ever seen. The toilet paper is really poor quality. It is located behind the toilet so we took it off and put it on the counter. The happy hour did not start on time Friday. When we asked at the front desk the bartender said I will be there in a minute. It opened at 7:15. The person who checked us in was great as was the manager. The breakfast crew fantastic, fantastic, and fantastic. Shower looked like it needed work either moldy or grout falling out. Towels really really need replaced. Super thin, frayed and some actually falling apart.

Staff was great and friendly, room was really nice and location in a good spot.. some reviews says it's in the bad side of town. Honestly it'd nothing around it but a park and apartment complex which is about ,25 mile away. No issues at all at this hotel.

Had a great stay here. Booked the hotel because of close proximity to Lackland AFB. Only about a 5 minute drive to the gate. The staff is super friendly and was very accommodating to families who were coming to see their graduate. The breakfast was open early enough for you to get some food before you head to the base. They were still doing the covid-era method of serving food (as of Sept. 2023) instead of self serve, but the people working the breakfast were very nice! The rooms were clean and spacious. Would stay here again!Nearby activities: Very close to Lackland AFB. Was about a 5 minute drive to the main gate.

We stayed for the Air Force graduation. The hotel is very close to the Air Force base. Great service, Angela at the front desk was amazing and gave us a handout with directions to the graduation and attached with the agenda of events. Lovely breakfast. The room was very clean. However, was disappointed with the bathroom. The bathroom needs renovation. The bathroom tiles were old and smelled of mold.

The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. The bathrooms were beautiful with great water pressure. The breakfast bar was very well stocked and the staff were readily available to help serve. The happy hour was great with a nice selection of beers, and liquors. Definitely a pleasant stay will be back.
