The Best Western Plus Lackland Hotel & Suites is located in a quiet area just outside the city, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with convenient proximity to Lackland Air Force Base. Guest experiences vary significantly. The hotel provides good value for money and a nice breakfast with lots of options, including good coffee. The staff are described as polite and helpful. However, the property suffers from notable issues. It is frequently described as hard to get to, with frustrating access. Maintenance is a major concern, with reports of outdated rooms, uncomfortable and lumpy mattresses, loose or broken plugs and sockets, malfunctioning room key readers, and issues like mold in bathrooms. Some guests found rooms a little dirty. While the pool is appreciated, problems with billing and disengaged staff have been noted. Overall, it is considered a decent stay for the price but with considerable room for improvement.
Brandy, Brenda and Sammy are life savers!! They were so helpful and sweet. They even helped me push my vehicle in the parking lot. Give them a raise!

Very tired hotel. Staff was great. Facility shows a lot of usage. Elevator was out most of the time. Pool was nice.

Elevator is broken for access from first floor, 1 if the 2 easing machines is also broken. They serve you breakfast at the buffet instead of self service which i didn't care for. Facility was clean and comfortable otherwise.
