“Let me tell you, HEB & Sprouts does NOT even COMPARE. The meat is great quality, and an even better price! Listen I have gone to HEB and the meat is tough hard to digest and make you feel sluggish sometimes even odd looking. Sprouts is even worse regarding price it’s disappointing to say the least. I 10/10 RECOMMEND, we’ve come here twice now and will continue to come here! We’ve been very satisfied with the quality of the meat. It’s soft, tender and juicy easy to digest no complaints not even from my picky eater! Cuts are cut fresh daily, and customer service is great which is rare nowadays! We were assisted with a smile & great patience for new comers like my family. Their packs and special prices can’t be beat! We’re almost done with our recent order & can’t wait to go back! One last thing, yes they take SNAP to those who have it, take a look at their website if needed run don’t walk!!
*** Update We been coming here monthly, their bundles and prices are quality and quantity! Forget Sam’s and Costco and come here you won’t be disappointed. Call ahead if you place large orders and they will have it ready for you to pick up. Which is convenient with our baby girl no time wasted. Over all since coming here my family is overall healthier fed and happier I have a picky eater and let me tell you he raves and looks forward to what’s cooking!”

“My mom and I walked in about 2pm, there was no wait. We could not figure out what we wanted , everything sounded so good. My Mom went with the smoked turkey sandwich, she said the bread was fresh, the turkey didn’t take like cold cuts, she said it tasted like it was just smoked. My dad Had a Tuna melt with provolone, he loved it and it says a lot my dad is picky. I finally went with the party melt and it was delicious. Definitely going back to try more”

“Just recently heard about this meat market and I immediately visited, i was greatly surprised to find fresh cabritos, lamb and goat, whole or by the pound. If they don’t have it on the butchery, you can buy it live and they will butcher it for you. Of course the also have beef and poultry products. Beef on the display wasn’t too appealing, looked a bit past its prime.”

“I started bringing my game to Eddie's a few years ago. Their pricing is very fair and what you get back from them is amazing processed meat! The people who work there are great at what they do, and very friendly. Even during the busy white tail season, they will take care of you in a timely manner. I highly recommend Eddie's for your game processing needs. You will not be disappointed!
By the way, my favorite item of theirs, is the dry sausage. There is a lot of good dry sausage out there, but Eddie's is by far the best!”

“When the shelves at heb were barren during the last big freeze in San Antonio, this place had everything in stock. I was super thankful to find milk and meat and bread and produce here when the big stores in town had literally nothing in stock. Thank you for feeding my family at a fair price, especially when the weather was potentially going to be hazardous. I was worried we would be going without for a few days, but thanks to La Michoacana we got everything we needed.”

They have the best pan Dulce in town their baker makes the best Mexican sweet bread. I live in the northeast side of town and travel all the way to this Culebra meat mkt on Flores and Division. Also you can’t beat the price on their Barbacoa special 19.99

“The barbacoa here is amazing. They only sell it on Saturday and Sunday. The Cafe inside has good tacos. My husband gets the menudo. The Aguas frescas are refreshing and come in a cute reusable cup if you get the large. They also have a large selection of pan dulce. The mini conchas are delicious, soft and tiny. They're 69 cents and the larger are a more than $1 but less than $2, I don't recall the exact price. Parking is ok. They share a parking lot with other establishments so you have some options. They have a section of the store where you can get home goods from Mexico, like pottery, dishes, things like thay.”

“This store has been there for a quite a long time. Since I moved near Stone Oak I visit this place now if I need any Indian groceries. I would say grocery stock wise they are good. They have curry cut chicken too. Frozen items are good too. They need to work on their fresh vegetables section. Manpasand is still better in this section compared to Evans. Goat meat wise I guess Al Madina and Alibaba is better. They have some cool sweets and snacks in display would love to them if they are really fresh.”

“I just wanted to give these guys their deserved props! I have been hunting all my life out of Louisiana and decided to hunt something besides Whitetail! I killed an Axis and an Orxy in January 2025! Now I know these two animals are by far better meat but man this meat is good! They helped me figure out what I wanted and gave me stuff to try! This is by far in all my years the best meat house I’ve ever used. They have me asking what the heck my meat house in Louisiana is doing. I got so much meat back and to be honest I will not use anyone else. The meat is that good!! Thank y’all so much for the help getting it home and working with me. Wow what a meat processor!
