Took forever to make it through the line because they only had 2 staff checking people in. The 2 staff were too busy trying to upsell than to get through people quickly. The woman who checked my in was rude to me after I made it clear I wasn’t interested in any of the upsells.

Use Enterprise. The Hertz, Dollar, and Thirfty group at SAN do not reliably have the reserved vehicles available on site. Significantly long lines develop as each customer gets to the counter and waits for a car to be available for them.
